Its got to be 90 % or more that are born into it.

What a waste of time all that field service.

Would be an interesting statistic to know.

4th gen on my Dad's side, 3rd on my Mom's side

My husband was 2nd gen (his Dad is the only one "in")

I have 2 sets of Gr Grandparents (on my Dad's side) that became JW's in the 1930's I think. Our kids were going to be 5th gen but HA HA!!! my hubby helped me to REALLY see what this religion is about,thankfully!

1st and only one in my family, ever! No one in my family archives or present have been affiliated with JW's other than me. I became one of Jehovah's Witnesses when I was in my teens and left 1 1/2 years ago.

Third. Granddad was a 'Russellite.' My mom is 86, still in (she was one of ten kids, 4 of them were witnesses). Only 3 or 4 cousin families are witnesses. Hmm... Poor showing, huh?

4th generation - My children are 5th generation - I have a cousin with grown grandchildren who are 6th generation, and possibly a 7th coiming up. We go back to the turn of the 20th century.
