MIG NEWS:
Indian air force MiG-21 crashes
An air force spokesman said the aircraft crashed on the outskirts of the Salonibari airbase near Tezpur, about 185 kilometers from Assam's main city of Guwahati.
"The MiG-21 was returning from a routine training mission when it lost control and crashed. The pilot ejected safely," a spokesman said.
He said the crash did not cause any civilian casualties or damage to property. -
