Some say it's the Beatles. They certainly did leave their mark on the world.

On yesterday's news was the item that the Beatles had been awarded that title - can't remember by who, but someone!!!

Although there's been many popular singers and bands, the Beatles were actually instrumental in changing things in society, so I s'pose they deserve their number one place.

Personally, and in common with many downunder, I prefer ABBA !!!

    For vocals alone.....

    Pop: Roy Orbison

    Rock: Steve Perry ( Journey)

Country: Marty Robbins or Ray Price

    For entire band: The Eagles

The Eagles were vocally and instumentally better than the beatles.

Jim Morrison was the greatest front man ever, greatest band would have to be Led Zeppelin.

The Beatles, especially based on biggest influential bands. Solo, it has to be Bob Dylan.
