My son gave me this video and I really want you to see it, but I don't know how to get it off my desktop to here, so I'll summarize it and maybe you can find it yourself if you want to.
The Greatest Story Ever Told Part 1
HORUS Sun God of Egypt in 3000 B.C. Born on Dec 25 to mother Isis Mary, a virgin. Accompanied by a star in the East, adorned by 3 kings. At age 12 he was a prodigal teacher, baptized at age 30 and thus began his ministry. He had 12 disciples he traveled with, healed the sick and walked on water. He was known by many names such as: "The Light", "The Lamb of God", "God's Anointed Son", "The Good Shepherd", "The Truth". After being betrayed by ? he was crucified, buried for 3 days, and was resurrected. These attributes of Horus permeated many other cultures throughout the world.

Numerous others, (I counted 38), have the same characteristics.
The qestion is: Why those attributes? Why virgin birth on Dec. 25? Why dead for 3 days and resurrected? Why 12 disciples or followers?
JESUS was a latecomer, and the birth sequence is completely astrological.
The brightest star during the evening is Sirius at the foot of the Orion constellation. The stars on Orions belt are the 3 kings. On Dec. 24 the Sirius star aligns with the 3 stars and they point to the sunrise on Dec. 25.
The winter solstice symbolized death of the sun to the ancients. At least perceivably the sun stops moving south for 3 days under the Crux contellation, then it starts moving North. Died on the Crux, resurrected in 3 days. This is where part 1 stops, the resurrection at Easter is on the next.
