My son gave me this video and I really want you to see it, but I don't know how to get it off my desktop to here, so I'll summarize it and maybe you can find it yourself if you want to.

The Greatest Story Ever Told Part 1

HORUS Sun God of Egypt in 3000 B.C. Born on Dec 25 to mother Isis Mary, a virgin. Accompanied by a star in the East, adorned by 3 kings. At age 12 he was a prodigal teacher, baptized at age 30 and thus began his ministry. He had 12 disciples he traveled with, healed the sick and walked on water. He was known by many names such as: "The Light", "The Lamb of God", "God's Anointed Son", "The Good Shepherd", "The Truth". After being betrayed by ? he was crucified, buried for 3 days, and was resurrected. These attributes of Horus permeated many other cultures throughout the world.

ATLAS of ? Born of a virgin on Dec. 25. Crucified. Dead for 3 days, resurrected.

KRISHNA of India. Born of a virgin. Star in the East signaled his coming. Performed miracles with his disciples. Upon his death he was resurrected.

DIONYSUS of Greece. Born of a virgin on Dec. 25. Was a traveling teacher who performed miracles such as turning water into wine. He was referred to

as a "King of Kings", "An Only Begotten Son" and "The Alpha and Omega". Upon his death was resurrected.

MITHRA of Persia. Born of a virgin on Dec. 25. Had 12 disciples, performed miracles, upon his death he was buried for 3 days and was resurrected.

Referred to as: "The Light", and "The Truth".

Numerous others, (I counted 38), have the same characteristics.

The qestion is: Why those attributes? Why virgin birth on Dec. 25? Why dead for 3 days and resurrected? Why 12 disciples or followers?

JESUS was a latecomer, and the birth sequence is completely astrological.

The brightest star during the evening is Sirius at the foot of the Orion constellation. The stars on Orions belt are the 3 kings. On Dec. 24 the Sirius star aligns with the 3 stars and they point to the sunrise on Dec. 25.

The winter solstice symbolized death of the sun to the ancients. At least perceivably the sun stops moving south for 3 days under the Crux contellation, then it starts moving North. Died on the Crux, resurrected in 3 days. This is where part 1 stops, the resurrection at Easter is on the next.

While it's true that elements of the Jesus story seem to have come from preceding myths, please be careful about buying into a lot of these specific claims. Many of them are basically urban legends that circulate amongst mythicists who want to wrap everything up in a neat little package. One example is Mithras, who doesn't share that much in common with Jesus. Richard Carrier addresses these dubious claims here (I recommend watching the whole thing, but this is a direct link to the part about Mithras): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwUZOZN-9dc&feature=youtu.be&t=20m45s

    Jeannette,

If you are talking about Part 1 of Zeitgeist: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWNBz6HZTgs

there are some things you should know....

The creator of Zeitgeist is a known New World Order Socialist and is promoting one world religion.

The ideas presented in Zietgeist have been debunked by many researchers.

here is just one Youtube Vid. on the subject: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFI6m6Icav4

If you just type in "Zeitgeist debunked" on yuoutube or a search engine you will find tons of material.

Basically the "One World Religion" the globalists are striving for encompases the doctrine of Zietgeist's Part 1.

In other words, Zeitgeist's purpose is to turn viewers away from Christianity and toward a philospohy that will help usher in the New World Order.

This is a good video that explains the deception of Zeitgeist and it's true purpose, worth a watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rolBwT3y98I

It is interesting material and it does change one's perspective at first glance, but please see the other materials that give a counterpoint.

    Good Luck.

    Jeannette,

    Just to be clear...

The part about our monetary system and 9/11 were good and true.

My belief is that the creator of Zeitgeist used these items as a way tu lure in "Truthers" to the religeous aspect...

This Video is much more accurate than Zeitgeist, that video has got a lot of stuff wrong especially concerning Egyptian god tales. One example Horus mother was not a virgin. Its really unfortunate that video was so inaccurate I could of gotten out of this Cult 10 years earlier..

Ah, yes, Zeitgeist. I didn't recognize it from the subtitle "The Greatest Story Ever Told". That movie is one long "citation needed".

Thank you Apo, Crazyguy, and FFtruther. I've now gotten these websites for youtube, (didn't know they existed), and I will watch them in their entirety. i want to know what these One World Globalists are up to, and how they are trying to trick us. What nationality would Zeitgeist be? Thanks, again.
