How has everybody been doing ? Are you hanging in there with life and moving on- post witness ? I'm sure most are staying busy with work- or staying busy looking for work with this economy. Are you moving on and enjoying life in your leisure time ? Are you developing hobbies you enjoy - whatever the hobby ? Hiking, cycling, tennis, reading, golf , higher education, camping , music, or just hanging out ?

My wife and I are doing fine. Trying to figure out what to write to my witness daughter in a return letter after we got hers. We planted a vegetable garden so look forward to saving money with that. Probably will go camping a few times this summer. I just got back from a hiking trip with my son in the mountains.

So- This is all of your thread - share how you are doing and perhaps we can all empathize and give each other some ideas how to move on and cope . As always I look forward to your takes and thoughts. Peace out to all, Mr. Flipper

Glad to see ya here flippers....

Life is very good for me.... sure you read the threads. In all seriousness, the happiest I have ever been, JW or post-JW. I keep dreading waking up from the dream. Thankfully its real.

Finishing community college in Aug finally. Will have an AS in Business. May have to take a break from school before pursuing a B.S. and catch up financially....and I am headed out to work shortly...only reason I am still here is the PO of the local congo stopped by...soft pitch this time....

yell at ya later.... I am horrible about making phone calls....

Well I landed in the Hospital yesterday. Hoped I was going to "kick the bucket".LOL
But got ticked off for driving with chest pains...Told that was a very silly thing to do!
After xrays, & a few other tests, cant remember what that called em all!
but had wires going in & out oxygen etc:etc: said I am missing heart beats.?
And must return BY AMBULANCE if the pains return LOL
Wouldnt have gone, but my daughter ( not the JW one) Told me she was gonna
come & take me ..so I went before she knew...
But she found my car there & came in the Hospital to tick me off also...
    So ends MY day....

Life has been good and getting better. It's been about two years or so since I left the "troof" and couldn't be any happier. When I left I faded (for the sake of family still in). I just finished one degree and am working on another, I recently went to a "witless" gathering and saw all the old buddies I used to run with while I was still in, and after seeing and hearing how miserable many of them are, I couldn't be any happier that I left. My GF (a born in JW), has also left and she couldn't be happier!

Life is great! Been mostly out since 2000 but last meeting (Memorial) was 2003.

I'm having my revenge by living a good and happy life.

Why... I just recently discovered the greatest new catfish bait.........Snausages doggy treats. Catfish love it!

Actually, I've tried other dog and cat treats......the soft ones that can be put on a hook.

    Great bait!

Happy dad...when we used to fish in Arkansas they sold a catfish bait with blood in it. (An Arkansas witness told us about it) We sure used to catch them on that stuff.

We called it "Stink Bait"...cause it did.

Mouthy, have you ever had that before?

Did they give you anything for it or mention possibly a pacemaker?

My Mom had something like that and they put a holster monitor on her to wear for a few days. She would attach it to the phone and they could read the printout of what her heart was doing. She ended up being OK..

Hope you are OK now, and don't you dare Kick the bucket...you're still needed here...

    Hey Flipper,

Remember my "loser" meltdown about a year ago? Well, things can certainly change in less than a year. I can't give too many details since...

    a) Hojovah might be monitoring my apostate activities and disassociafellowshipment me.
    b) I don't want to jinx my good luck !

Life is much better this year. My fade is on. My work is going very well.

My goals are to keep the fade on track, get more exercise and take care of my health, keep business going and growing, and music has been out of my life for too long. Unfortunately, that will leave less time for JWN, but much less time for theocraptic activities for sure.

Good luck with the garden. Don't just think of it as saving money, try to find joy and satisfaction in growing things. Gardening can be very therapeutic. But if it doesn't work out, just throw some bricks over it, call it your new patio, and say "Garden? What garden?"
