Review: revised Elder's manual, part 4 (final part)
by neat blue dog inhere's the cruel, uncomfortable and dehumanizing description of transport for disfellowshipped ones:.
in cases of real need, the elders can determine wheth-er some assistance may be provided.
such assistance would be viewed as similar to public transportation in that there should be no conversing with the disfellowshipped or disassociated person.

Review: revised Elder's manual, part 3
by neat blue dog injudicial committees are famous for having 3 elders on board, but more can also be had:.
complex cases may warrant having four or even five experienced elders on the committee.. an interesting admission is the possibility of being harsh in judgment, and even insinuates that the elders would pay with their lives if the wrongly judged 'lost their spirituality':.
an individual unjustly dealt with may have difficulty maintaining his spirituality.-matt.

*sigh* The Extinction Rebellion ... middle class toss at its finest
by LoveUniHateExams inso, a bunch of eco-geeko middle class people are desperately trying to be au courant, bringing london to a standstill in order to 'save the planet'.. apparently, there's even a crèche, with entertainers entertaining the protesters' well-nourished and pampered offspring.
i guess many of the protesters - sorry, saviours of planet earth - couldn't get a nanny to look after little benedict and olivia.. today is the fourth day in a row this crap has been going on.. hopefully there will be more arrests in the coming hours and days.

I got my Memorial invitation today but I just couldn't
by Tenacious insome days ago i posted on another thread that if i ever did get a memorial invitation i would ask for more to give to friends and family but in reality i was going to use it as toilet paper.
the old lady was just too nice.. i honestly thought she was selling something but nope lo and behold she was a jw giving out memorial invitations.. as soon as i opened the door she hand it to me all the while saying i was invited as well as anyone else in my home to this "very special event" which was the celebration of christ's death.. so i played the role.
i looked over the invitation like a curious first timer and as i flipped to read the back i paused, looked up at her and said surprisingly "oh, you are those ... um, .... witnesses, jehovah's witnesses!
