If Osama Bin Laden or other evil person were stood in front of you right now and you had a Colt 44 Magnum fully loaded - could you pull the trigger? Would you?

Could I? I suppose if it were a kill or be killed type of situation I could.
Would I? Not unless it was a kill or be killed situation.

Well, since Osama said it was the duty of every Allah loving Muslim to kill Americans, and since I'm an American.... it would sure make me look at him strange to find out what his intentions were. I think if he made any sudden moves, even reaching for his toothpick, I'd be sending him to his long-awaited personal interview with the Almighty.

I spent years in Law Enforcement after leaving the org....that coupled with the knowledge that Bin Laden and those like him caused thousands of innocent lives to be lost....My Law Enforcement and Fire Service family...innocent children...parents who will not return home to their families...husbands, wives, sons, daughters.....who's only crime was going to work that morning in September.

I would live with the guilt of sending him straight to hell and would not lose a great deal of sleep in doing so.

Yes, no questions asked, and no hesitation.

If someone invaded my home, and the only weapon I had was a pencil, I stab that sucker to death with the blunt end...or with my bare hands, and watch his eyes bug out of his head as I mercilessly choked the blood from his head.

Same for rapists and murderers: let them meet the wonderful beyond.

    In Afghanistan.... no.

    In Canada... Yes.

    In America... No.

NO in Afghanistan because if I did that there, it would be a sure way of getting killed myself. Yes in Canada because he could use our lax immigration laws to stay in Canada for years. And no in American because I think the American people would like to carry out a public execution.

    Thats my strange answer.

    Hello the_classicist

And no in American because I think the American people would like to carry out a public execution.

There was a day, yes, but not so now.

For some unexplicable reason, we Mercks have gotten to the point that we'd rather pay millions of dollars to imprison convicted murderers, and millions more to plead their cases in federal courts (all at the benefit of us taxpayers), and then just be thankful that the f****ing bastards simply die of old age in their cage.

    The simple way is better.

Of course, this is just mvho.
