  They don't know what to do....

  have been going to a few meetings to support my kids that have to go with their mother.

  i knew it would be a powerful lesson for them to see how these loving people treat their father who da'd a while ago.

  couple of elders tried to corner me the 2nd or 3rd time i went to remind me that i cant talk to anyone.... i however reminded them that i am not df'd and i can talk to whomever i want to.

  could anyone help me out w/ dates for the summer convention schedule (held in dekalb il i think) for sun prairie, madison east and madison north congregations??

  really looking forward to the meat in due season.... or miracle wheat... or whatever they are selling nowadays!!!

  how did you bury your head in the sand when something didnt seem right but you forced this religion on your kids anyway?

  i was a born in, my mother was a convert.

  ill admit, before i had kids i suppressed doubts and thought "this is as close as it gets to the truth" as soon as i had kids and realized that i now had to teach this garbage to my kids w/out really believing it was enough to get me to realize the cognitive dissonance stops here.

  trying to understand

  i think the blood issue is an incredible looking glass into what is wrong with the legelize style of relgion.. unfortunately my ex is a "very good" jdub and still have to deal with it because of my two children.

  i think i understand that fractions of components are not considered blood but i think that realization brings this next question.. does it simply just not matter that the fractions of components came from blood?.

  i was at the bank and was at the front counter asking for help and my old jdub elder boss walks in.

  i do a double take and say "hey denny, how you doin?

  " he says nothing and fills out his deposit slip.

  hello all, long time lurker first time poster,.

  last night after setting up my family's first christmas tree, my worldly wife and i started to read, from a normal rockwell christmas book no less, the story of jesus' birth, the wise men and the star guiding them to jesus.

  she asked me if that was pretty accurate and i said that it was.
