I forgot to add that the article completely left out the shunning, jc's, blood, pedophilia, no voting, no YMCA, etc....
Last Sunday's wt about shunning would be perfect to educate the public about the reality of jw's.
please post some comments on this news-site!
it's not a bad piece of journalism, but there are definitely some gaps that need to be filled.
the pro-jw apologists have already started posting on it!

They believe Jesus Christ is the key to salvation? really? since when?
I remember some quotes from the wt's that state being a jw is the key to having any hope (no guarantee) of salvation.
I have heard of comment made by jw's that snear at the mere thought of Jesus. They might give lip service and say He is their 'king' but in the end they really don't give Him much thought. More reverence is given to the gb and the org at large.
this is a notice from the shire in which i live .. "signs placed on naturestrips ,roadsides ,and other public land require a permit from the shire which has identified locations in each town where signs can be erected once a permit is granted .. their is a photo of heaps of signs that have been impounded that don`t have a permit.. and i would imagine their is a cost involved in this.. would that be a valid reason , the cost , that i don`t ever see a witnessing cart/trolley in my shire ?.
smiddy.

The reason you don't see the trollies is because they are busy in Mordor, they have aligned themselves with the orcs and will come out full force soon, very soon!
urghhh... what a disgusting study!7 a conflict of loyalties may arise when a close relative is disfellowshipped.
for example, a sister named anne received a telephone call from her disfellowshipped mother.
the mother wanted to visit anne because she felt pained by her isolation from the family.
does anyone know if the 2015 edition of the wt library is available on cd rom?
does anyone have it for download?.
cheers.
don't get here much anymore.
my mom, if you remember, really wanted to see her granddaughter before she died.

i recently decided to take matters into my own hands with my husbands family who have nothing to do with us.
his mom has seen my son twice since he has been born and his dad has never met him.
his family will pop in every few months, on top of that like in my last post ask for for money.
Why on earth would you want grandparents like that to have anything whatsoever to do with your children? Surely you have seen the posts here and elsewhere how grandma/pa try to convert the grandchildren, tell the grandchildren that the parents (their own children) are filled with satan or will be destroyed at the big A or try to sneak them to the kh while in their care.
Protect your children from people like this, you all will be better off now and in the future.
Communities and nursing homes are filled with lonely older adults who would love to become surrogate grandparents.
If the jw grandparents are willing to visit in YOUR home and have normal non religious (no mention of jw's, jehovah, etc..) play games, eat with the ENTIRE family and so forth that would be one thing but if they cannot or will not then you have some hard decisions to make.
the wife and i went to the memorial strictly out of respect for my mother-in-law last night.
luckily our 20 month-old grand-baby was restless and making noise, so i quickly volunteered to take him in the back.
so i didn't have to listen to the presentation.
Was this at every kh? or just this particular kh?
I wanna hear more goofy analogies from their most holy day of their year! People wait all year to hear stuff like this?!
