thinking about it, folk devils always try to destroy all opposing views. they are always a threat to security and require the nation to arm itself to the teeth (the pew research foundation, ultra right wing conservatives, etc etc). Historians are surprised we did not exchange weapons, China was the top target during the Korean War, the American General wanted so badly to Nuke China and North Korea to avoid heavy casualties but feared Russia's retaliation. How did we miss that bullet (Or Nuke War) when our military leaders were so crazy thinking we could win a Nuke War?

Islam is the perfect religon for people who desire to treat women like shit, their book says that "Hell is full of women", "Men were tricked by evil women", "Hell's population consists of unclean women", Mohammed did not like women other than using them for his sexual release. His hatred of women and making them worth less than a camel, if any group is in a state of Cognitive Dissoance, I would say it's educated Female Muslims because no amount brain power can explain why a highly educated female would join such a wicked religion that attack's woman the the root of all problems.

What is "evil"? That's just a broad concept for anything we don't like, isn't it? So it's like saying "Why do we dislike the things we don't like?" As for specific examples you gave:

Being a product of something or nothing is not relevant to our feelings about injustice. Injustice itself is an arbitrary concept just like "evil". It simply represents the specific things that we find unfair, but does not encapsulate things that other people find unfair. For instance, some countries find it unjust for someone to be tried more than twice for the same crime; others do not.

Because we dislike seeing other people hurt. It's a sympathetic response which is necessary for members of a social species to help each other. Some species are social, some aren't; evolution just goes with what works. Some species' individuals do nothing but fight with each other, and some ignore each other. Others are social, like simians, cetaceans, pachyderms, etc. There's no deeper meaning behind it, it's just a method of increasing survivability. This is also why we want to see people treated fairly, because what hurts them can hurt us too.
