That is not likely to happen. IMO, the Friday convention day has always been a loyalty and obedience test. Will you take the day off work?? Are you willing to lose your job over it?? Jehovah will surely bless you!

All thats left are the usual annual talks and demos about- Pornography, avoiding "apostate" sites like gangrene, dressing like a Mennonite, not "wasting" your youth with college, dedicate your life to pioneering, foreign language field, dont have "worldly" friends, Interview sister sickandcrippled about how she has been so joyful regular pioneering for the past 30 years, and the usual doses of Guilt, Do more, OBEY OBEY OBEY, the end is SO CLOSE, make SURE you dont talk to the DF ones, and of course boasting for hours about how greatful we all are for the FDS and "Jehovahs Organization".

What you cannot expect- Encouragement, any thing of any depth mentally, or any Mention of Jesus Christ.

I wonder which unfortunate circuit gets the Circuit Assembly on Superbowl Sunday or will it not be scheduled on that day and on XMAS and New Years when they fall on a weekend?

Less time at the assemblies/conventions is a good thing. And the one day bit will make it easier for faders to miss, I think. Plus, there will be more of them around and going to another more convenient time (as my mom does frequently anyhow) will probably be more common. One day is easier to put off-its not that big a deal, you know!
