How far can they downsize? I would think, that they could manage just fine with the 2 compounds. Or just the one. They are a publishing company. Computers have made so many human bodies obsolete.
What do they need Brooklyn buildings for anymore? With only 3 runs a month, for the magazines, and to make copies of books on the other machines, how many people do they need?
And by the way it sounds, the people of Brooklyn are really getting pi$$ed off. They have put up with this cult long enough. They don't give anything back to the community, and are just a fat tub of lard, that doesn't help anybody but themselves. They better leave before the townsfolk get their torches, and look for someone to lynch.
I bet their little expansion get done in record time, and more real estate Brooklyn is sold, letting our boys come home, where they belong. My windows are filthy.
