Just Throwing Out The Idea Of A Class Action Suit Against The Watch Tower Corporations
by frankiespeakin ini think now that the governing body is in this big power grab in order to stay alive as an entity, thus tighten control, the more controling the more they open themselves up to legal consequences.. blood tranfusion forbiden by a authoritarian religous corporation.. disfellowshipping enforcement that brought pain and suffering thousands i'm sure these type of lawsuits could break them but i'm not well versed in law so i thought i would thow this out for discussion.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/class_action.
in law, a class action, a class suit, or a representative action is a form of lawsuit in which a large group of people collectively bring a claim to court and/or in which a class of defendants is being sued.
class actions are commonly referred to as class action suits; however, this phrase is redundant as the historical distinction between "actions" at law and "suits" in equity is no longer recognized.

Critical Thinking and undeniable facts of true truiness
by losthobbit ini was recently writing to someone on the fractal future forum.
he came across as a very intelligent person, but i noticed that a post of his about medicine showed that he seemed to lack a lot of knowledge about medical testing and the scientific method.
so, i asked him some questions, and his reply seemed to contain a logical fallacy in every sentence, concluding with a quote from mercola.com, one of those really dodgy conspiracy theory / anti-science type of sites.

Breaking news: US mass shooting
by Simon init's getting to the point where cnn should start announcing "breaking news" if there *hasn't* been a mass shooting !.
it's crazy.. i was watching the 70's documentary they are running and that's the point when media hype about mass serial killers seemed to begin the danger-gun-solution hype cycle.
sure, people had guns before then but nowhere near like it is now.. when will it end?

40 years on - and still in Damage Control mode!
by Bungi Bill inearlier this morning, i posted off to the the institute of engineers an application for membership as an "engineering associate":.
- today being just over 40 years since the congregation's retards elders made me abandon my apprenticeship.. (in this part of the world, the pre-1975 hype was taken to that level.
not being content to prevent young persons attending university, they went one step further and treated with hostility any youngster who would "tie up five years of their lives" by entering into an apprenticeship.

Whatever happened to Applewhite's "report"?
by OrphanCrow indo you remember the wt lawyer trying to get justice mcclelland to accept a new and improved report from the wt "expert", monica applewhite?.
the wt lawyer even managed to squeeze more time from the commission for applewhite to prepare her report.
funny thing is, applewhite never submitted that report.. i guess she has been too busy with catholic business...no time for the wt dudes.
