  Spiritual Gem #1. Perhaps Witnesses should apply the standard the WT recommends for gathering information on the internet to WT publications; from page 4:

  (1) Who published this

  material? What are the author’s credentials?

  (2)Why was this published? What motivated

  the writer? Is there any bias? (3) Where

  did the author get the information? Does he

  supply sources that can be checked? (4) Is

  the information current?

  Spiritual Gem #2. We finally have a comment regarding the Memorial partakers; from page 22:

  Memorial partakers. This is the number

  of baptized individuals who partake of the

  emblems at the Memorial worldwide. Does

  this total represent the number of anointed

  ones on earth? Not necessarily. A number

  of factors—including past religious beliefs or

  even mental or emotional imbalance—might

  cause some to assume mistakenly that they

  have the heavenly calling. We thus have no

  way of knowing the exact number of anointed

  ones on earth; nor do we need to know.

  The Governing Body does not keep a list of all

  partakers, for it does not maintain a global

  network of anointed ones.

  What we do know is that there will be

  some of the anointed “slaves of our God”

  on earth when the destructive winds of the

  great tribulation are released. (Rev. 7:1-3)

  Until then, the anointed will take the lead in

  something that is well-documented by our

  annual service report—the greatest preaching

  and teaching work in human history.

  So the increase is from retarded and emotionally unstable people. Well dah, only the 7 at Brooklyn are mentally fit. The rest of Jehovah's annointed are just dumb *ucks.

  I can't remember who said it on this forum, but they asked whether or not any of us have ever met anyone of the GB? Do we know anything of their background, how they got to where they are? Would we recognize any of them walking down the street? Do we know their wives, or their families, anything about them? The answer is no, so where do they get off insinuating that the increase in Memorial partakers is the result of mental instability, or significant emotional inbalances? For all we know, David Splane might have recently been discharged from a rehabilitation center after a bout with substance abuse. Gerrit Losch's hair might be a transplant?

  Since when have the non GB 'anointed' been allowed any 'lead' recently?

  Amazing the GB does not keep a list of the anointed/partakers, 11,202 noted on their 2010 Annual Report . Their anointed, their faithful and discreet slave is one of their 'top' doctrines, mentioned in every meeting and every piece of their literature.

  Yet they know the exact number of their pubs. worldwide, some 7.5 million. No problem counting that. No problem counting their hundreds of thousands reg. pio. and aux. pio. and millions of their so called Bible Studies and millions upon millions of hours spent in service. No problem for keeping their lists on that stuff. Yet, a relative small list of their "chosen ones," no list! Some big contradiction going on there.

  Actually their 'faithful and SECRET slave' is bottom line only the GB. That is the 'list,' only 7 presently.

  The arrogance and condescension involved in insinuating that your members have mental problems if they partake of the emblems is very telling.

  How do they even call themselves Christian? It's as if someone would need a certified letter from the Governing Body to have persmission to partake?

  These are article are great. Newly awakened ones and persons with doubts will be helped to see the cold-hearted, calculating publishing corporation for what it is.
