it seems the watchtower staff have made a runaway train with the introduction of the mark jw.org.. the combination of using a gadget driven platform and the fact that the common jw is low educated and easely influenced.
by new occurrings in their religion makes the situation getting out of hand.. proof: gb members wearing jw.org buttons during their speech, gifts with jw.org are given away, umbrellas with the jw.org are available.
jw.org is more important then god, his son and the gospel.. it's the gadget and the jw.org mark that counts.. i am so happy my grandparents are not confronted with these idiots.. it's a runaway train heading to the end of the track.. gorby .

When you think about it, they are a PRINTING AND PUBLISHING company, after all.
So the printed word is out of style, must move onto printing and distributing company logo items... to keep the publishing company alive! And the models of the latest logo brand items are the GB!

i attended the regional convention (district convention) over the last weekend, and thought i would spend a few minutes putting down some thoughts, for your amusement.
i will bounce around a bit, as my notes and thoughts were a little craaaaazy.. we met at one of the smaller venues on the west coast, with attendance around 7,000.
(28 baptized.... <.04%) we were tied in to the international convention in arlington, tx.. my first thought, only about 2 hours in, was how much this sounded like a plain old sales meeting!
So they are admitting that Rutherford preached "Millions now living WILL never die." Didnt they whitewash that a while ago by claiming it was "Millions now living MAY
never die." ???? they are flipping it back again.....My God they are such liars they cant get their story straight!!!! Do they mention the millions thing in the new book?

i wouldn't be surprised if they were publishing more 'white washed' information to try to diffuse the facts people are learning when doing real research.

today my husband and i sold plastic ducks for the annual duck racing fund raising event opposite a jw cart.
in the 2hour period we sold over a 100 ducks putting our jw training to good use proactively approaching people, overcoming objections and generally wishing people success.
cantleave went round the local businesses selling to the shops and generally was received positively.
Hi Nugget! When I saw your post, I thought I had a senior moment! A couple of weeks ago, I was also selling ducks at a local event for the Center for Prevention of Abuse. When I glanced at your title, I thought, “gosh did I post it and FORGOT?!?!?!?!!?‘ Well, two rows over from our duck sales in the non-for-profit-booth were two JW’s with their table. (How do you insert a picture here????)
Since I was the back-up duck sales person, I had quite a bit of time to watch their table. (was I GLAIRING????) People walked around the table as if it was contaminated. I felt a little sorry for the 2 people there, but then I thought better of it. The only person that I know for sure that stopped by to talk to the Witnesses at the table was a minister looking for food donations for their local pantry….and we all know how that went over! :(
It wasn’t until the last ½ hour of the 3 hour event, that they moved in front of the table. They tried to talk to the other vendors. Since I was staring, I was waiting for the man to come over to talk to me. (I probably did scare him off with my glaring. But he didn’t, come over-----chicken!
If he did come over, I was going to say “It’s because of the teachings at YOUR table that I am now at THIS table.” Maybe it was a good thing he didn’t come over, as the poor guy had enough rejection as it was!
that was a question posed to me by a friend who just recently discovered my switch from one who used to have a belief in god to one that has a lack thereof.. they stated "most people i know, including your truly, were not much interested in closely following the tenants of the faith we were brought up in when we were in the prime of our young adulthood.
you on the other hand, were much more zealous back then and now have pretty much left it all behind.
surely it is not because you are not sowing your oats at this time.".
