  Please say hello to my wife.

  i've been posting here for quite a long time, so long in fact that it just doesn't feel right that my wife isn't a part of it.

  earlier today i created an account for her with the username heron, she'll know why.

  i'm not sure if my wife will ever post here but i would feel much more comfortable knowing she is aware that i do.. this is the one post i am going to ask her to read.. so, i'd really appreciate it if you could say hello to my lovely wife.

  BRILLIANT.

  Maybe they think if they keep saying it long enough and loud enough it will happen...NOT Doesn't it make them look stupid? I can't believe I used to believe this effluvium. (Foul smelling gas)

  So the Governing body says we're deep into the time of the end...I think the majority of us here would disagree. It'll be interesting to see who's right and who's wrong. Of course with those snake oil blowhards you can never pin them down, all they say is soon... I predict every member of the GB alive today will be dead and gone and still no armageddon.

  The only thing the society and the Governing body is deep in (and full of) is**** and it stinks real bad. Sounds like the same old garbage they've been putting out for years. Nothing new here!

  Boy oh boy they really know how to tug on the old heart strings...how about this...

  Once there was a young couple, very much in love. They were NOT Jehovahs Witnesses but were good people who wished nobody harm. This lovely pair longed for a child to love and cherish and finally their dream came true...a sweet baby girl, but just as they were about to embark on their wonderful new life... all three got their heads smashed in by blazing rocks falling from the sky courtesy of the great Watchtower god.

  Take away all the pretty pictures and crafty words, isn't this what they're preaching? Makes me sick!

  More appropriate baptismal questions

  from time to time the borg changes the baptismal questions...they're always asking for money so maybe when the candidates for baptism stand up the speaker should have them take out their wallets and purses, open them up and then repeat "help your self..." that way mother get's her hands in right from the get go.. anybody else think of better questions?

  no, it's not a vast conspiracy for the governing body to get rich.

  it's about power and control, but not personal power and control.

  the watchtower society is a living, nigh-sentient entity unto itself.

  The "organization" which is bigger than anyone has the power. The governing body and all the higher ups are parasites.sucking off it. The wealthy brothers fawning over the elite and sucking up to them with gifts and money are brown-nosers and idol worshipers and all the rank and file are drones who count for nothing except to give homage, obedience and money.

  i was just thinking today about the old days going door to door and street work and i have some very fond memories of those days.

  coolhand and i used to go in street work everyday together when we were pioneering.

  i used to be my happiest when i was in the preaching work.
