What I couldn't stand were the sisters that would purposely sing it one octave higher or lower.

Geez...
i do not believe the gb members are purposefully deceiptful, but rather that they too are believers due to a lifetime of indoctrination.
does anyone know if all of them were born jehovah's witnesses, or if some came in later in life?.
.
I know Tony Morris pretty well.
He's a good guy and he's gotten a lot of grief with his father when "came into the truth."
I do believe he's a good guy.
what ingredients go into making someone become a witness?
I came to become a JW as an adult.
No one in my family was a JW, but my mom's childhood best friend became one and her son witnessed to me when I was a teenager.
When I was about 19 - and left for college - I was real lonely.
Back then we didn't have the Internet or anything like that. So there was no real way to research anything.
I don't think the love bombing was as big for me.
I think I really just had a lot of time to read and study.
It was very interesting to learn.
I got my dream car this year... Maserati.
I remember when I was a pioneer - I was driving a Lexus and everyone was freaking out that I was materialistic or something.
Confucious
i was very surprised that the wall street journal would publish this crap worthy of infowars.com.
and i was even more surprised they put it on the front page.. but it's in today's wsj - dec. 29 edition.. it's a story about a russian professor that is predicting the end of the usa by the year 2010.. he points to the fact that states will withhold support to the federal government.. they went so far as to make little diagrams on what states would go to canada and what to russia.. this one is easy though - say what you want to say - but 2010 is only a year away - and nothing is going to happen to the usa.. i'm not a flag waving redneck either - but the infrastructure of the us is too strong - too advanced.. con.

RMT.
You are very smart sounding, LOL.
You sound like my college professors.
I agree...
I'm not saying that the USA will NEVER go.
I'm just saying not anytime soon.
And certainly not by next January.

ok, so here's a little summary.
i have suffered from depression for quite a while, at varying degrees.
several months ago, i made the decision to stop attending meetings (check out my first posts for the reasons).
You shall know the truth and the truth will set you free.

It's very simple.
One year from now. I will pull up this thread and we will see.
You will see that America is fine.
Can we agree? Can we all agree that we will pull up this thread a year from now?
What is going on in America right now is a correction.
Poor people were living like the Middle Class.
The Middle Class was living like the Rich.
The Rich were living like Millionaires.
Millionaires living like Billionaires.
Everything is not fine. There are certain challenges.
America is going no where anytime fast.
How about this... loser pulls this thread out one year from now.

I believe it can't last forever by no means.
But this guy was making the news today - front page.
But if anything - it will show him up.
Because the initial prediction was made 10 years ago.
Maybe the WSJ was doing this to show him up?
So easy to sit here in the cheap seats and say by year 2020 - the USA will be gone.
This Russian professor made his 2010 prediction 10 years ago in 2000.
Now it's time to eat his words.

It's a story about a Russian Professor that is predicting the end of the USA by the year 2010.
He points to the fact that States will withhold support to the Federal Government.
They went so far as to make little diagrams on what states would go to Canada and what to Russia.
This one is easy though - say what you want to say - but 2010 is only a year away - and nothing is going to happen to the USA.
I'm not a flag waving redneck either - but the infrastructure of the US is too strong - too advanced.
