it's been 12 years since i first read ray franz's books and the scales came off my eyes.
by that time i was in my forties.. since 2002 i went back to school and have worked with 3 very professional organizations.
but my biological clock is ticking away and while my peers are looking forward to retirement, i am only beginning.
I really woke up early last year. 54 years down the drain. I so wish i had woke up so long ago. The sad thing to me is, I am pretty beat up health wise, and still stuck pretending. But I am close to the breaking point in so many ways! And so tired of this game, and the wasted life, that I gave to the borg!

i've been out for decades and believe i've been mostly de-cultabilized (if that's even a word).. my family is still in and i haven't had contact with them in years.

so the governing body likes to keep claiming incredible growth.
at the same time they claim bible studies are way down.
are the finally admitting what we've known all along, that they can no longer recruit outsiders?
But in the BS counts, is included so called door step studies, that can last just a few minutes! I know a brother that has 15 studies he counts every monthm that last 5 to 10 minutes each!!!

back to august of 1988. my brother and i were the ones being marked.
at the time, my father had clued us in that it was coming and had gotten a recording of it.
are we not also obliged to act on wrongs being committed by a family member or members?

Our last BS conductor would tell everyone the day and time. Then when we all got there, he and his wife were just coming out the door, having already finished the job!!!

jw love to make a big deal about christmas but the reality is alot of people have time off work from christmas to new years.

There are jw's that WON'T eat and some won't even buy, turkey around Thanksgiving, for someone may think they are celebrating it! And god forbid they visit non jw family!

i will offer a couple of reasons hopefully many people can contribute more.
their are probably umpteen ( for want of a better word ) reasons why this is so .. lets be bloody honest about this , sex is the be all and end all of society , and has been since adam gazed upon eve.
(if you can beleive that story ).
Most of them are scared to. If it might bring reproche on the name, they always run to the elders first, and they in turn reinforce that fear, and warm them of what happens if they tell or even talk about it to anyone!

i remember many years ago we would talk about those who leave the org.
something bad will happen to them.
because god was mad at them for turning away from the wt.
No matter what I did or how hard I worked for the borg, I never felt worthy of making it past this life anyway. This worthless feeling is so deeply ingrained in my heart and mind, I don't think I can ever shake it off!
