  Do Any Of You Dream About JW Friends You had ?

  what prompted this topic was a dream i had last night where i was engaged in a conversation i had with an old friend where i was trying to prove where the jw`s were wrong from their own bible.. and this is not the first time i have had such dreams.. often times i have had dreams about people i have known in the religion .. remember i have been away from the religion for more than 26 years now and in a totally different part of the country .. i now wonder if any of them ever dream about my wife and i ?

  but that`s something i`ll never know.. do any of you have any such experiences ?.

  maybe i`m spending too much time on this site lol.

  Having played a musical instrument, I have, over the years had dreams related to either playing or not playing in the orchestra's of the day. (I was involved in the 1969 showgrounds orchestra)
  

  And of not being selected for a special 'spiritual occasion' or wedding of prominent jws.

  Ha ha,,,,, I've played in bands since then for many years and loved not doin jw stuff !! but the dreams persisted at times.
  

  Phunny how the brain works while we sleep.

  the jehovah's witnesses believe that only the father is lord god, however by searching the scriptures we can identify that there are more than one person in the godhead, and the lord jesus as well as the holy spirit are lord.. for those who are interested in learning, feel free to watch this new video..

  Just my two bobs worth. Apparently a well respected smart guy said something like that.
  

  I've watched this topic with great interest and there are more questions than answers regarding the trinity concept.

  That in itself speaks volumes with respect to bible eisegesis and seriously questions the same.

  As a layman, I wouldn't mind reading a succinct scriptural answer. Or, has our time in religion fused our neurons !?

  however - back in the day there was an implicit rule ratio of 2 to 1 when it came to counting time.

  two witnesses witnessing to one person for one hour would count one hour each.

  Movie review website Rotten Tomatoes caught deleting 54,000 fan reviews of Captain Marvel

  first, i haven't seen captain marvel.

  i'm not into superhero movies.

  low-budget horror made by passionate directors is more my thing.. if you saw the movie and enjoyed it - great.. and i'm sure some fan reviews are motivated by hate or they're just spamming or whatever.. but here's a thing: rotten tomatoes has been caught deleting more than 54,000 negative fan reviews of captain marvel ... all to increase the negative fan's review aggregate from 33% to 36%.. social engineering isn't just limited to the long-debunked 'gender wage gap' ... it's happening in entertainment.

  Yep. I've seen it twice in a week and the second time I took my friends along, (female) and they loved it too.

  Its comic book fiction and escapism at its best.

  The ginger feline takes the cake alongside Samuel Jackson,,,,,, hilarious, in my opinion.
  

  I loved it and I'm into Marvel and DC movies. My friends who are not, couldn't stop talking and laughing all the way home in the car.

  Can't wait for the Avengers sequel in April that appears to be linked to this movie.

  And I'm an 67 yo male of the species. ha ha.

  i was hoping to get some advice on what to say to a parent who wouldn’t support you to get married to a “worldy person”.

  always bringing up “marry only in the lord” even when that hasnt worked out for the parent, twice divorced lol.

  is there a way to discredit that scripture or argue back respectfully without giving away that you are pimo?.

  And, watch the watchtower morons jump all over this to take the heat off their own issues.

  It seems the catholic church and other institutions have had issues over the years.

  I am friends with guys that were abused by Risdale et al and its sickening to see the results of that .
