jehovahs witnesses think that just the bible is proof that god exists but they are wrong.
there is another mode for how he exists.
now we all know many scientists who are creationists now weren’t creationists until they examined the evidence for themselves.

hi everyone to cut a long story short, ive been away from the meetings for over 10 years.
i recently reconnected with the congregation and started a study.
cant get my head around all the changes and jw broadcasting.
My two bobs worth colin..... Don't Try Don't Bother. Been there done that and now working on cleansing my brain from the trauma and the associated implanted (with my erroneous permission) delusional thought processes.

just sitting through this week's wt study and just spent 5 minutes listening to multiple answers where people are convinced that jehovah made humans from clay, literally forming adam like a sculpture then breathing life into him.. it's embarrassing to think i basically thought the same....
Oh, and any how, the Chinese dynasty vase didn't sell for $70 million.
The bidder reneged on the purchase and it was eventually sold two years later for about half of that.
I googled ming dynasty vase sells for 70 million dollars. interesting story actually.

...is an epic triumph is emotional manipulation.
bringing together all of the stories they told thus far and placing them int he "new world" complete with the little boy who was killed in a car accident coming back from the dead.. i have a good friend who is stuck in with family and plays the role.
he said everyone was crying, and the people next to him rated the videos by how many tissues they needed to dry their eyes.
Need to bump this thread due to the find by Orphan Crow regarding the source of the music used in the last video for all Australian lurkers/searchers as I. Regionals are currently taking place her in Oz. Man, what a find. And I'm tellin all I can and am getting the good old cognitive dissonance,,,,,,,,, "oh one of them must be a brother" b.s. Finger down the throat time for me. (insert vomit emoticon)

i have been out for 23 years , so i`m not up to date with current practices.. however i was "in" for 33 years and belonged to 7 congregations in two states of australia in that time 1960-1993 , and not once could i say the general public ever attended a public talk.. in our witnessing back then we would distribute invitations to a public talk on a bible subject given before the wt study.every week.. some of the congregations i attended had between 80 to 100 active publishers , and most would give at least 10 hours service pw.,so that means hundreds of invitations would go out , week after week , for the public to attend talks, and nobody and i mean nobody shows up , year in and year out.. sure , now and again maybe ,one or two bible studies would have attended , but that does not constitute the public attending .. what are your thoughts on this ?
was it the same in congregations you attended ?
smiddy.
Yep sir 82,,,,,, dats melbourne cup day,,,,,,off to da races jtg

so, after congs handing over all the cash, a request i believe, has been made in melbourne australia recently for a contribution box to be placed at the kingdom halls in melbourne for contributions to pay for the estimated 1.6 million dollar refurbishment of the melbourne assembly hall in melton.
i'm told by a angry attendee that the letter came from the branch in australia.
anyone else in oz hear of this ????.

myself and my peers in the jw organization in the 1960`s discouraged our children from entering into competitive sports because of the jw policy , regarding that scripture .. has their been a radical change since then ?
a re-interpretation of that scripture ?.
why i ask this question is : here in victoria australia where afl football ( aussie rules ) is often regarded as a religion , especially to the state, victoria , we have, according to the media , a devout jehovah`s witness playing professional afl football at a competitive level.. and at their latest win , the team , including alec rance a jw of the richmond club was enthusiastically singing the club victory song along with his teammates on their win .. are their other examples of this in other parts of the world or is this an australian hiccup.. smiddy.
ha ha Smiddy,,, right on.
Yes,,,, only rules for those with less cash.
Methinks the Prince fiasco pretty much spelled that out.

just confirming the comment by 'honest'
Rance is just classified as an 'unbaptised publisher'
You can pretty much get away with a lot under that classification.
Too much politics within jwdom when wealthy are involved
of course this thread is inspired by princes sad death , yet i wonder how the average j.w.
nowadays.. from what i have gleaned from the many threads about his death their seems to be a reverence about him even on pro-j.w.
sites.. i have been out for about 25 years , yet in my time in the "truth" anything that put you on a pedestal was a no , no.. competition in any form was discouraged , sports especially.
Yes indeedy Smiddy
here in Melbourne we have Alex Rance the Richmond footballer who is idolised when ever he shows up at a meeting or convention.
