  Yes! You've hit the nail on the head. This is the media's latest "trend for the left" - this is a false, blanket statement that does NOT express the views of the majority.

  Israel has many faults, does many things wrong, and should be called out on those bad things. But it really is a beacon of democracy among Arab lunatics.

  Au contraire, in my experience. Israel is ruled by the military - a democracy? ahahahaha! Let's talk turkey. I have a very close friend who visited Israel as a 20-something - the moment he passed through immigration, he was conscripted - you are a Jew? you are visiting here? you MUST serve in our army! Yeah, he was shot doing border patrol ... just another Canadian Orthodox Jew that wanted to visit the 'homeland'. There is much about Israel that is just wrong. The world needs to know. No black and white here - many shades of grey, I admit.

  a few years after i quit the meetings my mum needed her medical directive signed and witnessed and she asked if i'd do it.

  i was surprised to say the least!.

  i think she was just angling to include me and maybe find some lever to get me involved again.

  the majority of members who tend to join this forum have been hurt possibly even traumatized sometimes to the point of wanting to end their lives.

  upon joining the forum, new members are welcomed with open arms, welcome messages start pouring in, "likes" are freely given, a false sense of security is promoted where a member is free to speak his mind without having to worry about the wt gestapo.

  again, similar to how potential converts are welcomed and "love bombed" upon entering a kh for the first time.

  I am the first to admit to being "daddy's gurl". It's true, that the relationship between child and opposite-sex parent is a special one.
  

  She wants the org to tell her what to do. She wants the org to tell her she is being a bad girl or good girl.

  This, though, can be changed. There is the aspect of the b'Org, but the 'critical voices' in one's head are the ones implanted by the b'Org. Scripts that were 'learned' in childhood - the bad parent in your head, always criticizing, always saying "BAD GIRL". Look up "transactional analysis", and you may get a better understanding of the need for approval. She needs to learn to be her own parent, and be able to hear and reinforce positive messages. xx

  More, the far-left is "anti-libérale" and mainly "anti-capitaliste".
  Personnally, i'm still very close of these positions.I'm still deeply internationalist, third-worldist and anticapitalist

  Here in Canada. I would think 'socialist' When i think of France, I think 'socialist republic', and I like. To me, even further left, anarchist. .

  "Left' in North America has a stronger connotation towards liberal social issues like abortion and rights of LGBT.

  Actually, if you can step outside the box, it makes a lot of sense. The cult exit does not ensure immediate healing, and JW traits can linger for life. The need to be 'right', jamming your opinion down others' throats, condescension; all these and more are JW traits that are deeply ingrained.
  
  So don't feel bad. It's only natural. xx : )

  hello people.. i'm tired and a bit sick at the moment but i can't let anyone think that this is going to go away.... i am able to tell you a few things in order to prevent any confusion in the minds of those who are thinking that nothing will come of this arc;that nothing will effect the wtbts in america and other places.. i have been there and given my testimony.

  helen milroy and her assistants were there along with another group of people who are there to lend assistance if you crack up at any time during or after the hearing.

  i did not crack up but can see how this happens.. security is tight and anonymity is sacred to them as they want to protect all who come forward.

  Yes, kaik, it all leads one into the other ........... very sad. Just the whole 20th century, to me. I had more hope for this century. Perhaps not in my time, but things *must* change. Globally.
