i kind of snapped at my wife today...for no reason really.
and in my frustration ive been contemplating just spilling the beans...i know its not the best idea but i do t know how much longer i can lead a double life and hide the truth.
as i still believe in god i feel like a hypocrite.
DS, what a stressful predicament you are in. We are here to support you. I had an outburst with my daughter, she was out but still not fully awake. I said some things about TTATT, that were inopprotune. The good news is she got over it and many supported me here on JWN. Hopefully you will be spared an outburst if you get the right support.

Welcome and thank you so much for finally posting. You bring tears to my eyes with such a lovely post. It's obvious you are a genuine caring elder, do you have a close friend you can speak to in your hall or circuit that you know you can trust.
You say you are in a conservative area, I visited a congregation in London, full of bethelites, and bethelites on the BOE. But the CoBE, is so layed back and loveable. He is a truly wonderful man. Is your cong more conservative that that? Or is that you on your BOE?
You need to have a plan and take control. You need to think about whether or not you can stay in and keep your mouth shut or you need to have an exit plan. I don't think you need to worry about how to take the WT study. It's clearly convoluted, and everyone will answer as they do. Sister pioneer, blah blah blah, reference here and there, that no one in the cong even listens to. Then you have all the kids. Then you have Bro Show off who always get a laugh.

there is a trend in modern evangelical, charismatic and "non-religious spirituality" that gets dangerously close to erotic love of jesus.. it's something that i first observed during my christian years especially in the lyrics of christian songs and sometimes during open-prayer times.

everybody adopts the shampoo position - elbows on knees, head in hands - and whoever is "moved by the spirit" speaks up for a while, followed by an awkward silence, followed by two people speaking up at the same time, followed by silence, and so on.. anyway back to the topic, here are a few random examples .... "lord i give you my heart.

do you think when someone takes things personally in a way they are "selfcentered" because "its all about them" .... or does it mean maybe that the person is just very caring and sensitive?.

when a person says not to take it personally, don't they mean it may be upset them ... just like they are requesting you not to be upset ?.
People want to make themselves feel better, and think they are doing things in a more socially acceptable manner, which they are not. They are being rude, it's just passive rudeness.
Reminds me of the thin veneer of politeness at the KH. When Bro and Sis Important walk passed you, and say "Hi, how are you?" and carry on walking.

11: 3-10. i want to focus on verses 4-6. it says this (nnwt):.
"4)every man who prays or prophesies with something on his head shames his head; 5) but every woman who prays or prophesies+ with her head uncovered shames her head, for it is one and the same as if she were a woman with a shaved head.

Monsieur, there is no purpose for evil. Evil people have evil purposes. They can be scheming and decietful to attain their own ends at the expence of others. Experiencing this suffering at the hands of evil people serves no purpose what so ever.

Yes Paul was in my view. God did not write it, it was Paul or another sexist man. Some may be interested to know my JC chairman, had that item. He then grilled me in the back room for 20 mins how unscriptural it is to call the police on my ex, if he is beating my son. My ex unscripturally divorced me, but he is in "good standing".
