God’teachings or men’s personal opinions and interpretations ?

· 'the golden age' january 18th, 1933 page 252.

· "if the message the jehovah's witnesses are bringing to the people is true, then it is of greatest importance to mankind.

I believe there is a newer quote from the fabulous GB, stating that "anointed ones" don't necessarily have more "years" or "knowledge" than even non-anointed...

Here it is:

Modestly, anointed ones acknowledge that they do not necessarily have more holy spirit than those with an earthly hope. They do not claim to have special knowledge or revelations; neither do they try to prove that they are in some way superior. They would also never suggest to others that these too have been anointed and should start partaking; rather, they would humbly acknowledge that it is Jehovah who does the calling of anointed ones.

however, the org's own kingdom interlinear translation (and every other bible translation) gives a truthful translation of the verse: .

I think (don't know exactly), this is the first time - they write the status of the JW into the text for the cover image.

So the governing body is NOT inspired...are they still "spirit directed"?

okay there has been lots of buzz about the feb 2017 wt where they say the governing body is not inspired nor infallible.

yet, they are still using the baptism questions.

the second one being... "do you understand that your dedication and baptism identify you as one of jehovah’s witnesses in association with god’s spirit-directedorganization?".

have the many jehovahs witnesses past and present who have lost their lives by refusing blood transfusions due to the prohibition on blood tranfusions by jehovahs witnesses really got the sense of this statement ?.

a couple of years ago, i participated in a thread on this site comparing the old nwt (1984) to the new nwt (2013).

i was able to produce a nwt mash up pdf showing the side-by-side differences between the two versions of the nwt.

herethis site claims it will hold the file for download for a long time.

this info is from the article "who is leading god's people today" feb 17 study edition.. to help them disseminate bible truth in various languages, zion’s watch tower tract society was legally incorporated in 1884, with brother russell as president.

* he was an outstanding student of the bible, and he fearlessly exposed as false such doctrines as the trinity and the immortality of the soul.

he discerned that christ would return invisibly and that “the appointed times of the nations” would end in 1914.. pretty sickening article overall about how badass the gb is, though this little gem is printed as well, paragraph 12. the governing body is neither inspired nor infallible.

The Governing Body is neither inspired nor infallible. Therefore, it can err in doctrinal matters or in organizational direction.

In german language "they" is used.

Letter about changes in book 100 year kingdom

yesterday a letter was read in our congregation.

it said that there have been doctrinal changes in many chapters of the book 'god's kingdom rules' so everyone but especially the conductor must be sure to use the latest update of the book.. this book is only ...how old?

I made a table with the chages between the 2 PDFs (printing date on top in the table).

I can do it only in german (I collect the german versions) - but you can see the pages.

Most of the chages are about the change from "Kingdom Ministry" to "Our Christian Life and Ministry-Meeting Workbook".

On page 153 they changed the real russian picture into a painted picture. Also the picture text changed.
