  i'm sure there are countless opinions on whether you should get a tattoo or not.

  my personal view is that if you were to get one it should mean something.. anyone get a tattoo to remember their jw roots?

  i was thinking of getting a tetragrammaton somewhere.

  Last Night I was surrounded by Jehovah's Witnesses . . .

  last night was the "body viewing" at the funeral home for the jw whose friendship and influence resulted in my getting baptised in 1963. we weren't just friends.

  we had a david & jonathan bromance :) no seriously, we loved each other dearly.. it's only in the last 2 years he shunned me.

  before that, he would sneak behind the curtain of stealth, so to speak, and we'd sit for hours each and every week chatting, reminiscing and sometimes arguing about the truth about the "truth.".

  Elders School Question .....

  are there current elders schools happening around the country or are they at the point of requiring elders to go back to mecca (aka new york)?.

  and a more specific question: is it possible there is a school this next week in the seattle area?

  (just curious, it has to do with one of my in laws who's an elder out there).

  Interestingly, his biblecover seems to be (for me) exact the same as the actual printed one. In a video they showed different covers and explained, that 146 different cover-versions are tested. So 2011 the cover decision was already dropped. Or I'am wrong?

  Think about: most JW are females - and females are more generous when donating.

  Like the producers of a commercial - the GB knows exactly the target group.

  Ekala Convention Hall To be Sold - Sri Lanka

  sri lanka has only one convention hall which is situated at 44, agaraduguru mawatha,ekala,ja-ela wp.

  this was built on some where around 1990's.

  now the sri lanka branch committee has decided to sale the property.what is the reason behind this??????????????

  ok so a car pulls up to the house and 3 eldurrs from my dads congo come up.

  they come in and have thee nerve to ask me to step out so they can speak to pops!!!!

  this is the good part.....pops says...and i quote " whatever needs to be said..can be said in front of my son".

  Every time they come back to pops to beg for money, it will be clearer and clearer for pops, that they are "only" interested in his money - and NOT in his person or his healthiness.

  There is no better way to open his eyes.
