Who do JWs believe will be resurrected?
by M.J. ini've heard opinions on the matter ranging from the vast majority of humanity who is dead before the big a, to the viewpoint that there will be a very selective and exclusive resurrection.
what is the current wts teaching on the matter?
is it only small number of of people who directly and "actively opposed jehovah", thus committing the "unforgivable sin" who will not be resurrected?

Romans 14 describes law on blood as "conscience matter"?
by M.J. inromans 14 shows that some jewish christians in rome abstained from meat, while others did not.
apparently there was a bit of a tussle between the two camps.
now the big question is why exactly did some feel they needed to abstain from meat?.

The use of manipulative revulsion
by M.J. ina thought occured to me.. the concept of manipulating someone through fear and guilt is a pretty straightforward concept.. without a doubt, the wts employs these quite well.. but where the wts really scores big, i think, is its impressive ability to instil an overwhelming sense of revulsion toward its biggests threats/rivals.. revulsion toward not only its enemies, but also toward concepts it stands against.. it's so pervasive even many of y'all are still affected by it, whether you recognize it or not!.
hate can be a powerful force.. is there anything you can think of which you've always found repulsive, which could be traced back to the wts?.

JW black-and-white thinking, "us" vs. "them"...dispelled
by M.J. injust hearing the comments at this week's bookstudy, i marvelled at how black-and-white the typical jw is with regard to "us" vs "them"--with the main "them" being the "churches of christendom".
this whole mindset, and its ability to promote loyalty and motivation really showcases the power of granfalloon tactics: .
