  it was not drawn on!

  if a spouse has been unfaithful and a legal divorce has been finalized is the marriage over in the church's eyes?

  i've been told by the elders that i must witness the adultry or provide two witnesses that can speak to the adultry.

  my ex-spouse will never confess to his past or current sexual acts.

  I think that if you're a witness they'll hold you to the "two witness" rule. You're not free to remarry or even date someone else if you don't have "scriptural grounds."

  well, i have been sorting through thousands of files i have collected over the last 10 years about jws and the wts.

  it is going to take a while but eventually elsewhere will get them.

  but every now and then i will post something that i had no idea i had.. like this little gem.. it was very common for the media to be in attendance at the dcs.

  Oh, I remember these assemblies. I attended the eight day assembly in Chicago before leaving for a series in Europe. It was a wonderful year for my unenlightened, youthful self.

  I've been wondering that too. His dad is the Head of the Household and Richie's mom is in "subjection" to him. Has he ever been on this site to see how much support Richie gets?

  the lastest study article says in a nut shell that we should tell our new workmates/employer that we are a jw..for you folks who do not attend anymore or you've got out of the "theocratic routine" do you still make it know you are a jw?

  ok i've been away for many many years i think i'm going to go to a big 4 day assembly this year for old time's sake.

  i have several questions.

  first of all what color are the food tickets this year?

  i was going to post the follow thread, but i've used up my posts for today, maybe you could do it for me?

  ok folks, i'm going to attempt to write a comphrensive thread on this subject and update it over the next few days so i will be ready for my appeal hearing (which i heard at the memorial might be this coming monday).

  i went to the library at mcmaster and checked out every book by grayson i could find.

  How could you claim that the Babylonians kept good enough records to take their word on 539 BC and not on 587 BC?

  Just because they can. I hope the truth can become apparent to some of our family's, but this is what makes them a cult. People will plug their ears and go lalala -I can't hear you - because they've been told to.

  I wish I could paralyze my sibs and make them listen.

  51 years ago today.......

  my dad died on this date and i was 19 years old.

  we were having a circuit assembly at our town the next month and i was the room servant.

  we would go from door to door to find rooms for those attending and i was in charge of finding and assigning them to those attending.
