Ms. McD,
It sounds as though the dr's would be aware of the nsaids. Maybe they will consult with another hospital to look for answers. Are you getting enough support? Don't be worried about asking those around you for help.
i haven't said anything to you all because i feel like many will say here she goes looking for sympathy.
anyway, he had to go in thursday for a cbc.
his hgb was 7.2. so they sent him over to the hospital to get two units as an outpatient.

Is he taking NSaids for pain or arthritis? (non-steriodal ainti-inflamitory meds) I was hospitalized this fall with blood loss and nearly had a transfusion; my count only got down to 9. The dr's should have asked this question but on the chance they haven't, you should mention it. There was never a specific bleed sight found; it just happens fast and fierce.
This must be very frightening for you and your hubby; my thoughts are with you.
personally, i'm feeling better about things.
i don't cringe when i see a witness now.
i may still try to avoid contact with certain ones but now i feel more than ever before that jws are crackpots and whether they look down on me or not, they are the ones with the issues----not me!
I cannot even begin to describe how much better I feel mentally, physically, emotionally. Doesn't mean life's perfect but a lot better out of the borg.
i got a pm from gumby this morning.
as i predicted, he's being love-bombed by the congregation and invited out everywhere.
part of this is because he was very popular before and is a very likeable guy, but part of it is to try and suck him back in so thoroughly, he'll never be able to escape.
I can't even begin to imagine being in his position. I guess there's a lot of the flu going around... Hell, I'd be sick from the socializing that's been going on already.
ok, you may rant about anything that you find doesn't have the quality it used to have.. i bought a new toaster last week.
my old one was 13 years old, and i just felt like i needed a new one.
so i bought the same make, and similar price that i paid some 13 years ago.
What gets me is that you're always pressured to by an extended warranty. Do they make the things so you need an extended warranty? If I'm buying it, I expect it to last and don't feel like I should have to pay more $$ for that.
i just finished reading randys thread (http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/128072/1.ashx).
it occurs to me that his initial post here, with a bit of re-wording and reducing it to maybe three short paragraphs, would make an excellent letter to the editor of our local papers.
what if we all embarked on a letter-writing campaign to our local papers, using this as a basis?
I'll send one. Are you going to write a template or ready letter?
Since being thorougly "outed" this fall, I have absolutely nothing to lose.
i recently remembered this jw rumor that went circulating around when i was younger.
two sisters call on a door in service and is confronted by an obviously demon possessed individual.
(the details always changed, floating lamps, speaking in tongues, the usual folklore) sensing a disturbance in the force the younger sister leaves but the older pioneer sister stays determined to give her witness.
I'd totally forgotten it, but yes, I remember it. gasp...
when a party on the telephone asks you for the number of some other business?
this happens to me constantly, and, it drives me nuts!!!!
it's like, hey, i've got my own work to do..........how's about dialing the local information line?
I get it all the time. Most of the time it doesn't bother me too much, but if I'm busy, I want to tell them it's as much work for me to look it up as them!
yep, she started preschool!
she was so, so excited.. we went out sunday and got her a new dress and tights (ya know the kind that are footless but have a little lace band) and a hat and sunglasses.. she loved the sunglasses and didn't want to leave the house without them.. here are a few pics:.
.
Yup. Eighteen. He's always been the sensetive one, was only 9 when his dad left and has seemed more vulnerable. But we do our best to help them grow up to be the best they can be. I think he's going to be slower to "launch" as it's put. He's very comfortable at home.
I remember wanting "one more." That one was my youngest daughter; then came another!
Let us know how she enjoys her first week at school.

She is beautiful! What a milestone.
My "baby" turns 18 tomorrow; I can't believe it!
I know you're enjoying your kids. Time just goes so fast.
