my parents started attending the glendora congregation in 1961. my mother had a strange feeling about the congregation.
there was something going on there that just didn’t feel right.
there was a huge exodus going on of people leaving this congregation’s kingdom hall too.
When I got myself Disassociated they announced as “So and so is no longer one of a Jehovah’s Witness”. They announce the same ambiguous way, either for Disfellowshipping or to any who gets disassociated.
This is a clever tactic to keep the Congregation thinking that this guy might have Sinned Seriously and hence shun her/him. It also prevents the congregation to investigate why this guy got Disassociated himself and hence prevent them from knowing TTATT.

jehovah`s witnesses do not respect the ,governments of any nation from my experience with "witnesses" over 33 years as a card carrying member.
the governments are to be exploited taking advantage of all the provisions govt`s, hand out to their citizens.after all the govts, are under the control of satan the devil ,he is the ruler of this world and is at enmity with god.. so they feel justified in practicing deception as they the gov`ts.
being opposer`s of truth have no right to know the real truth.. i personally knew of pioneers who had no intention of finding work but were happy to take unemployment benefits from the govt.
I too know a few brothers and sisters who were deliberatley "Pioneeering" , taking Unemployement benefits as well Disablity benefits, even though they were more healthier than me

Arrived to my new Office 8AM. I had joined there a week before and was still staying in a hotel in Pennsylvania.
9:00 AM a lot of commotion in office, with all my peers watching the tv.
9:30 AM. All Employees told to leave.
When I came out giant Helicopters were flying, possibly towards New york or Washington. Scary to watch.
Came to my hotel and saw the twin towers attacked and colllapsing, on TV, along with the attack on the Pentagon.
Kneeled down and prayed to Jehovah. Felt that Armeggadon was imminent.
After that, I was waiting for the WT to print magazines on 9/11 , which eventually came out as Awakes.
A lot of rumours after that. THat the WT is getting ready for an imminent Armeggadon, work is speeding up and all those cult nonsense.
a few years back i was in a meeting between fades and it was the co visit.
he said something i thought was crazy and a lot of jws buy into this mentality.
i don't remember the talk but he asked this question.. what if this isn't the truth?

My reasoning for this is, a normal person works for 8 hours, sleeps for 8 hours and the rest 8 hours is spent according to his will and pleasures. He can pursue a healthy passion or hobby, or spend time with his loved ones, or just relax during this 8 hour /day
But Jws are brain washed to work for the WT,for the last 8 hour, along with contributing their hard earned money.
1/3rd of their life wasted for just fictious stories and needless rules. Is this life worth, where there is only one life and in a short while we become non-existent…….. for eternity ?
i did my own extensive research as i was getting out, and by exploring actual changes and mentions of core doctrine, i learned how it came about that the gb teach that only they know the truth and only they get holy spirit.
i was checking if jwfacts had it, and although they mention many older articles, it seems they didn't realize they taught there was no holy spirit.
this was a real big eye opener for me, so thought i'd share it, and curious if any of you knew about this yourselves????.
Because when Jesus was with his apostles they didn't have it, but when Jesus left, he told them he would send the teacher, the holy spirit. So since Jesus is back, there is no holy spirit anymore

However the whole argument of this is Just hypothetical, similar to :

i had two episodes of visiting exjw websites:one time around 2007 when i just googled "jehovah´s witnesses" and dared to look at those sites.
i was scared and i promised myself i would never come back to them.
however, that one didn´t really count.the moment that woke me up was this:i got to know that whitney heichel was a jw and murdered by another jw, because i overheard that conversation in a kingdom hall.i looked up the news and in one of the news comments, there was one where an exjw was complaining that they were hijacking her funeral and they were really trying to downplay the fact that her murderer was a jw... and then it said "visit jwfacts.com"... which i did.and the rest... is history.what exactly got you onto an apostate website when you woke up?
During 2002, the Silent Lambs Organization took up the Issue of child abuse and this was very much publicized on the media.
At that time during the TMS meeting, we were advised not to read any apostate material or visit any apostate sites. I was new to the internet at that time and really didn’t know how to search for apostate sites. Hence I wondered “what the heck do those apostate sites mean”?
During 2008 a JW friend of mine raised serious doubts about the 607 BCE. I searched for that in Youtube and had an apostate give an elaborate explanation about how WT had twisted that.
By then, google was much used to me and immediately I searched for “Jehovahs Witnesses”. A bunch of apostate sites came up. However the first few ones were Jwfacts.com and http://ajwrb.org.
Jwfacts.com was the site that exposed the cult wholly and its my Saviour too. Otherwise I would still be wasting my life for the cult.
according to jw teaching, babylon the great is the name for all other religions except themselves and predicted its influence over governments would wane in the last days.
yet we find just opposite happening!.
we saw russian government acting against jws, we saw president trump’s swearing in ceremony where church official had central stage ….etc.. here is another sample!

Every year, the Pilgrims to the Hindu temples grow exponentially. The same is true with the Pentecostal and protestant churches. Pentecostal pastors get rich very soon, within a few years after starting a local group.

The title of this thread as well as many people commenting here are concerned that WT is going beyond what is written in the Bible.
Do they still beleive that the Bible is the (only) word of a (True) god, written down for man’s betterment and that WT is going beyond what is written ?
