  i remember that some years ago there was a message with information about watchtower, was owner of home depot, and sold it.. question: was this true?

  When I was in the cult, I was told that WT invented the multi Language Translation device to translate its Magazines into numerous languages and IBM was constantly bargaining with the WT to buy it.

  This was in the year 2000.

  jesus was a real and historical person (not the way jws or the rest of the people think him to be) because of the following historical facts:.

  1) the fact that the most influential political establishment of that time (roman empire) was convinced that jesus’ name would sell to suit their political agenda (to promote slavery) shows that jesus was as historical as roman empire itself; hence they implanted slavery-friendly verses into the bible as though spoken by jesus (such as mathew 5:39, 41; 24:45 ..etc) this was in contrast to the real personality jesus really was—he was a man of courage, who ‘walked alone to do what is right if those invited refused to accompany him.’ when his family and disciples were fond of sleeping, his delight was to spend early morning hours alone, in meditation, with god to the extent he could say he was “one” with qualities of god.

  (mark 1:35; john 8:1, 2; 10:30) such a person would naturally be too famous and too crowd-pulling against whom even the influential people were helpless even when they were whipped out of the temple which reminds us of “hollywood rambo style” merely because of his moral authority (not that he had any supernatural powers to perform miracles).. 2) similarly, emerging religion (apostate christianity) too knew they could misuse the name of jesus to serve its commercial agenda.

  Jesus might have been a man who probably might have rebelled and killed pathetically by Romans. Thats it.

  All miracle stuff are Extra fittings to portray him as divine.

  This Jesus Story is written 40 years after his Supposed death, took another 200 years to compile it and took another 1500 years to spread to the world, after the invention of the Printing press.

  Too sloppy, if this was really God's plan.

  Why NO bibles??

  i know we have all said it before, but it simply blows my mind that the jws doing cart work do not have bibles on the cart to give out to interested ones!.

  how can they say they are "bible students" trying to share the "bibles message" and not give out bibles!?.

  other christian groups take the commission to share the bible seriously!

  We are not to convert anyone. (Blatant Lie)

  We do not snatch donations from our members as other Christian Sects. (Blatant Lie.)

  Our Field Service is not compulsory, but every christian is obligated to do it. (Blatant Lie)

  Ours is a worldwide Belief system. Any JW at any part of the world would speak the same truth. (What else would brain dead zombies do ?)

  so, serving "the one true god" and being "in the truth" are supposed to make jw's better people.

  they are bringing their "truth" to people and that probably makes them feel that they are good to "worldly" people.but they do it to "get their time in.

  " they do it no longer in any life-saving mentality.

  When the 2004 Tsunami struck and Killed 150K people in Far east, I wanted to contribute for the relief efforts through a major Volunteer Org and asked the elders if I can do so.

  They advised me to donate to the WT instead.

  Throughout my Life as a Dub, several times I had heard from fellow dubs that contributing to WT is the only and best option, if at all we like to Help the needy

  When I was rebelling, I bought out these points to my fellow dubs. They never believed it as I didn’t have the Originals to show them.

  God’s creation days were Eons rather than a literal day. If not a literal day how can a morning and evening be - as the Bible mentions - as if in a literal day?

  Snake didn’t talk to eve but Satan did it using the snake

  The sun stood still in Joshua’s battle. WT interprets this as the view from a man’s observance from the earth, whereas Jah would have stopped the earth from spinning.

  Jepthah never burned his daughter as an Offering, rather left her in the temple to serve Jah, as per WT

  When Jesus got resurrected, the Holy saints never got resurrected. This is what an elder told me. The Bible clearly mentions that this happened.

  Jesus says repeatedly “Ask anything and it will be given”. WT interprets this as we should only ask anything for Kingdom interests and Jah would do it.

  Slavery in the Bible. WT justifies this as a necessity in older times.

  Women should not speak in the congregation, as the Bible says. WT bypasses this cleverly by arranging for a conversation with the sisters themselves, in the theocratic Ministry school

  Sick can be healed with the elders anointing with oil. WT interprets this as Spiritual sickness.

  144K is a literal number whereas the tribes and nations are symbolic, as per WT

  144K not defiled by women. Women and defilement here are symbolic. Otherwise, if taken literally, women would be offended. Even symbolic, doesn’t this degrade women?

  have we ever noticed how witnesses are constantly being told that life is something that needs to be "endured", rather that "enjoyed"?.

  life is always so tough, so hard, so difficult in "these last days".

  "persecution and trials abound".

  Whenever I hear JWS say that "We are living in Difficult times, I truly wish that they should be taken back in time and left in the middle ages to experience :

  How life was so tough, insecure, No Medical care, Back breaking jobs, abuse, food shortages, partiality, Slavery, No human rights activists to defend, No Electricity, Only horses and donkeys to travel.....

  During my Bible study, in the process of getting sucked into the cult, I was taught more about Satan than Jesus.

  That he is more powerful, may present himself beautiful, crafty, cunning .....Blah blah blah....
