Jgnat, I have not said every family with mentally ill member, nor wanted to generalize. However, family can be crucial for getting mentally ill person treated before something bad happens and than these individuals became responsibility of the state. In the case of Olga Hepnárová that killed 8 people, her family failed the role. They were in denial that something was wrong and did not let her daughter to get institutionalized permanently. Olga was in her teen when she attempted murder, and was 22 when she went on killing spree. She was hang in 1975.

Despicable crazy people
by jgnat inthere are some mental illnesses which come with the potential for extreme violence.
i'm not talking the sociopath here who kills without remorse, but those mentally ill people while in the throes of their delusions who are driven to kill.
the outcomes can be horrific.. on december 6, 1989, a lone gunman gunned down fourteen women at a montreal college.

Crazy people that commit horrible crimes are not unique to USA or Canada. They always existed. Even wealthy societies does not have sufficient resources and will to deal with them. Eventually these individuals will get back to society where they would kill. 40+ years ago, the biggest spree murderer in communist Czechoslovakia was a woman, Olga Hepnárová that killed 8 people and injured twice that more. http://murderpedia.org/female.H/h/hepnarova-olga.htm She was treated in various mental institutions, attempted to murder her family, and yet she was always released back into the society. One of the problem with mentally ill people is also lack of will in families to get these people treated. There is huge stigma with a mental illness, and families do tend to appologies for the behavior regardless what the person had done.

There is no country in the area of Isreal that could successfully challenge the Jewish state. Every single of them would end up defeated. Turkey and Iran are not looking for confrontation with the world and the West either.

From A Bublical Point Of View Did You Ever Think The Trinity Doctrine Made Sense?
by minimus ini see no logic in it.
i see what appears to be some scriptural contradictions but i see no merit in a trinitarian view of god.. .

Trinity never made sense to me and this idea is rejected by both Judaism and Islam, but as well by numerous churches like Unitarians. Even ancient Christian churches like Roman Catholic and Greek Orthodox differ on the nature of the Trinity which was behind the split of 1054. The Trinity problem is a major division between Western European culture and christianity and churches of the East.

New explanation of Gog of Magog: Two Gogs?
by leaving_quietly ini just finished watching the recording of the talk at the annual meeting that re-explains gog of magog.
i caught something not previously talked about, that i can recall.. gog of magog is thought to be a coalition of nations that attach god's people during the great tribulation.
this is from ezekiel 38 & 39.. gog and magog in revelation 20 represents those with the same attitude as gog of magog.. thus, the new teaching (maybe not new, but i'll have to research this) is that gog in ezekiel is not the same as gog in revelation 20. two different gogs, happening about a thousand years apart.. .

Russell used to say that Magog represented Caucasian Christians who were nominal in their worship of Jesus, but not good Christian in their heart. Studies in the Scripture: "Magog was the descendant of Japheth. (Gen. 10:2.) Europe was peopled by his descendants, and it was to them that the Gospel call of the Age now ending was by Divine appointment sent. (Acts 16:6, 9.) The Gospel was sent into Europe that it might be demonstrated that God could call and make into Christlike characters representatives of even the most cruel, bloodthirsty, quarrelsome, rapacious people on earth." In other words, it was Christian societies that disagree with the teaching of the pastor.

Preterism
by Chris Tann inwhen i started to do my research concerning ttatt, i started to see the scriptures in a different light.
one thing i noticed is that when the epistles talk about the last days, christs presence, the ressurection to heaven; the writers were speaking specifically of their time, not some two thousand years later.
even when jesus speaks of his presence and the kingdom being established, he was talking to his disciples of that time and what they were soon to expect.

When I was a kid, my parents took me on "Orient Express" train that started in East Berlin and two nights ride it had brought us into Bulgarian/Turkish border via Budapest. They also took us for a train to Dalmatian coast to Split. I love trains. But train modernization in Europe will never achieve scale as in Asia due different tracks and voltage. Trains that comes from Vienna to Berlin via Prague have to change locomotive at the borders in Breclav and later again Bad Schandau in Saxony. I am not sure if the newest Pendolino needs to do that or German IC, but this is major obstacles for intra-continental rails from in EU from Brest to Brest. It is shame that years into EU intengration, the Europeans cannot even agree on this.

Bible is not historically accurate. Many of the events and inviduals are not even proved to exist which include historicity of David.
Jesus was a false prophet. He promised returning to his desciples, which did not happened. He was not Jewish messiah, and he did not fullfill criterias that Jewish people would have expect from Messiah. Jesus is not comming back.

Modernization of railway lines in Eastern Europe is happening in the past 20 years. Similarly, Spain modernized it railways as well. There are plans lines for high-speed rail in EU interconnecting major cities. However, there there three main problems with European railway grid: different voltage, three major of them where German railways grid cannot serve outside Germany which is crucial for longer term; high density of the buildings along the railway lines, which is problem with modernization within large cities likes Vienna, Munich, Prague, and Budapest; and comepetion with low cost air lines. Railway is good for distances under 500 km which is enough between major cites, but not efficient on longer distances. Anyone who remember railways in Europe in the 1970s and 1980s, there is certainly huge improvement of rail lines in the past 25 years.
