Having sex just for the thrill of having sex? I was like that in my pre-jw days; alot of recreational sex. It didn't take long for that to grow very stale. Now, I couldn't even kiss someone I didn't care for, let alone have sex with them just for a thrill.

Moe, I'm glad you qualified what you said at the bottom of your post. Some of us are in such situations, and have been so for an extended period of time, and are seeking to end the marriage. I certainly would never consider cheating if I were in a mutually satisfying relationship.

I wasn't considered "perfect" in the sense that I didn't have a "title", but I think I was too good in other ways. It's been my downfall. It's my resolve to become more of an asshole.

What Would Happen If You Just Walked Into A Kingdom Hall This Sunday?

"what would happen if we just walked into the kingdom hall this morning?

would the elders be waiting to talk to us?

I am told that people would like me to come back, though I can't imagine why. It's not like they had anything to do with me when I was a JW. And of course, I would have to "repent" from my "apostate" ways. Fat chance of that happening.

Are you a "party person"?

i went to a party last night.

as i stood there enjoying the gratifying numbness of a bourban, i couldn't help but feel a vast disconnect between myself and the scene at hand: ridiculously loud music with the bass at three times it's normal level, sweaty bodies smoking with abandon the filthy weeds between their fingers, people coming in the door shouting a barbaric "what up!

" someone's on the porch getting sick.

I consider myself a partier - with qualifiers. I've been to all kinds of parties, from loud weekend biker bashes with upwards of 300 people to black tie affairs. Whether or not I enjoy myself depends on the people I'm with. But for the most part, I prefer small affairs where you can enjoy some good conversation without having to shout over the music. Someone throwing up off the poarch is a definite downer.

Is There Anything That You Are Afraid To Talk About?

one thing for now that i'm afraid to talk about is who i really am on this forum.there are various reasons for this fear and i suppose that it means that the wt.society still has some control over me.. i really want to open up and reveal my real name and address and picture and family and history etc.and connect with others who may know me and are on this forum.

one day i will,but now is not that day.. is there anything that you are afraid to talk about?.

I can't think of anything that I'd be afraid to talk about. I've revealed some personal info on the Internet, but it's not likely that I'd have women stalking me anyway. I would caution women against posting personal info though, and revealing it only to people they've checked out thoroughly.

is'nt it interesting how things like reading the actual bible and becoming a more loving husband are all the way at the bottom.

i guess they arent as important as cleaning the hall or sending them money and not nearly as important as going to meetings and reading their books so the indoctrinization can begin.
