  well it has been two years since brother quotes and i were reunited, i can't believe it!

  at that time the site had around 18,000 visitors and now we have just passed 50,000 thanks to the watchtower and there publications!.

  over the last year quotes has reformatted, added a few topics and the ability to translate in other languages and the link has been added to forums around the world on other sites.

  And still our top topic visited is "ORAL SEX" that just tells us how horney the average JW is!

  That being the case, it's probably a subject that should be discussed here more frequently, and in greater detail.

  After all, it's all part of our recovery process.

  well i have redone the maps.

  it was helpful to have them separated before while i was trying to make them all.

  but now i think it is easier to have them separated.. ballistic has done an amazing job with the map of the uk you can find it at.

  Are You Surprised By How Few Witnesses Have Called You???

  i've had a few people just recently call or try to visit with me and let me know that we are "missed".

  but in reality, the phone hardly ever rings with a witnesses calling on the other end to see how we are.

  after spending a lifetime in the organization, it would seem that this couldn't happen......but, i'm glad i'm not getting harrassed either.......did you get calls and visits from those that "missed" you??

  I got more calls in the 5 months I was inactive then I did in the last 10 years when I was active. (that's not including calls I received when they were trying to get free computer help or money). I was originally just going to do the fade thing, but their constant nagging pissed me off and I wrote my letter.

  i ran into my df'd, trying to get back into the dubs, uncle and my jw cousin the other day.

  i was coming out of a movie theatre with my "worldly" girlfriend.

  after a couple pleasantries we departed and they finished cleaning the theatre's windows .

  Unfortunately, I probably fall in to the A or B category as well, and it pisses me off. I'd rather be thought of as an evil heretic. Family members who are still JW's are told to be mindful of their conduct, so that I might come back. How stupid! I didn't leave because of my family's conduct, and this was made clear in my letter. Maybe if they had some education, they could do something unique; read and comprehend at the same time. GRRRR!!!

  they are highly trained in their doctrine.

  Now that I think about it, it seems as though the JW's have more content in their meetings that discourage education than other things, like smoking, drunkenness, and sex. Of all the times I got counselled, even for things like smoking, drinking, and my hardassed way of collecting money, they always came down on me the hardest when I was taking courses part time. Is education worse than smoking? For them, it probably is. Education is the greatest threat to the WTS, more than any "vice" could ever be. And I'm sure they know that.

  A: In these last days that we?re living in, there are many religions, sects, and yes, cults. Many of these profess to have the ?Truth?. Some even go so far as to claim they are the only means by which God communicates with mankind today. Particularly astonishing is the fact that some even use Jehovah?s name, and claim to be his people! Of course, Jehovah?s Witnesses have unshakable ludicrous faith that they have the truth even in the face of opposition from detractors who would call them a cult.

  First, what is a cult? A cult is an organization that follows a man or group of men in order to attain salvation. Some may argue that Jehovah?s Witnesses follow a group of men, but is this the case? Not at all! Jehovah?s Witnesses follow a theocratic arrangement, through which current spiritual truths are provided to the Governing Body by Holy Spirit decided upon by the Governing Body by means of a two-thirds majority vote. Just as the scriptures are inspired and beneficial because the bible says so, the organization is directed by Holy Spirit because we say so.

  There are a number of methods used in cult deprogramming. An increasingly popular treatment is called cerebral expurgation. Here is a definition of the word expurgation:

  Expurgation.

  Expurgation \Ex`pur*ga"tion\, n. [L. expurgatio justification, excuse: cf. F. expurgation.] The act of expurgating, purging, or cleansing; purification from anything noxious, offensive, sinful, or erroneous. --Milton.

  The origin of cerebral expurgation began with the advent of the Internet. The process has evolved with the increase of apostate Internet discussion boards. This process, which eliminates cult-induced air-headedness, causes an effect that has become known in some circles as ?Brain Farting.? Like foul intestinal gas, erroneous teachings are expelled from the mind at an alarming rate. Occasionally, a spiritually weak an intelligent publisher may stray on to these sites and engage in discussion with those who have left our spiritual paradise hell. What a faith shattering mind opening experience this can be! The process is not induced chemically or by other conventional means. It is brought about by frank, honest discussion, which can give birth to the sin of rebelliousness independent thinking.

  What are the potential hazards of a worshiper of Jehovah following such a sinful course? There are many, but to name a few, some have become increasingly independent in their thinking. Some have even resisted the interference of loving elders in their personal lives. Some have taken up bad habits such as furthering their education, becoming less sexually repressed and even posting interesting threads about ?Loads.?

  To answer the original question, cult deprogramming is NOT for Jehovah?s Witnesses. Such a practice alienates Christians from Jehovah the organization. It opens their minds to demonic positive influences that we cannot control. May all true Christians stay away from apostate discussion groups and avoid the sin of rebelliousness reasonableness.
