  I preached the 'truth' to an active JW, her jaw is still on the ground!

  well, the best thing about being a fader is that you can still talk to dubs you meet.

  they think they can us the contact to upbuild you and you use it to plant the seeds of 'truth' which is what i did in this situation.. last week when i was at the markets i saw a sister shopping and although i normally avoid dubs, i didn't this time.

  i said hello and she was very happy to speak to me.

  i get insomnia a lot and i know others on here do as well.

  that is very common place for me.

  tonight though, my back slid out just before i went to sleep.

  When I can't sleep I'm usually on the board, but I might read or listen to music sometimes instead.

  I don't know if spending too much time sitting in a chair is a good idea if your back slid out. When I had frequent back problems it was better if I would lay down with my feet elevated.

  Life

  my wife and i are re-doing our wills and it has led me to reflect alot on life.

  in making a will you are basically preparing for death and setting your house in order so that there is no confusion afterwards and your loved ones are looked after.

  i do plan on living to a ripe old age but in life things can happen and i could be dead tomorrow.

  First I'd like to say it was a priviledge to have met you at our meetup earlier this month, and I hope to see you again at our next one.

  I haven't drawn up a will yet, thinking all would just go to my wife, who is very pro-org. Thanks for the reminder. I don't want to leave everything to someone who would in turn, leave all to the org when her time comes. I have alot of thinking to do now.

  i cut my hand.. .

  actually, i didn't, a shitload of glasses fell, and one shattered on my hand.

  so in essence, it wasn't me who cut my hand, it wasn't my fault.

  Sorry you hurt yourself - or rather - that the glasses hurt you. I tend to be a little morbidly fascinated by injuries when I get them. I've had a couple of minor surguries and always asked the doctors to let me stay awake so I could watch. The answer was usually no. I guess they thought I'd be too much of a distraction to them. I did manage to get pics of one procedure though, but I've since lost them in a hard drive failure.
