  silent lambs has failed..

  if any one has been a regular such as i have in the silent lambs site you will have noticed it has changed for the worse..as of last week i decided to withdraw from my membership...the site was designed by bill to vent, explain and devulge abuse that we have witnessed or experienced..as in my case as a former m.s i had seen two coverups in my hall...the parents to afraid to go to the police and the elders screaming jehovah will leave them if they tell on the org is the crime i had to bare with..so i spoke up and left the org...silent lambs was for that reason...now.

  it has mutated to a cheap lowlevel site for apologist and non witness who want to argue on unrelated topics..to top it off bill has given the site to an editor who is so silly and more involved than the participants why bother anymore....to bill..you lost your way...

  Just because some theoretical 'bad decisions' were made, let's not tear down the poor man. I have nothing but respect for anyone who stands up, gets off they're ass, and does something with they're life. And as was previously noted, RevMalk is one of those too!

  Looking at little inconsistencies and little tiny problems and picking him apart in an internet forum is just trashy. He's not Michael Jackson.

  I can't believe I am doing this again

  i am canning today.

  i got rid of all my jars, my pressure cooker and other canning paraphernalia years ago.

  it seemed so silly to can anything for dave, myself, and our one remaining child at home.

  I, for the first time, canned this year. A buddy smokes salmon, then cans it. It is the most amazing thing you have ever tasted... we also canned some tomatoe sause... one that they had been preparing for 36 hours! You have to taste it to believe it... everything that you could imagine was in that sause.

  It was fun, quite honestly. We had the pressure cookers going, had some beers, and shot a whole afternoon. I don't think it was boring at all, personally.

  There's alot of people here that have done alot more than you think shamus. It's true most of us aren't doing squat, but there's a ton who've been fighting the battle long before any of us were around.

  Exactly.

  Let's hear from them; not the opinions of those who have done nothing. Myself very much included in that category. I am sorry, Mole to drag you into it. I know that you're still trying to leave the organization. But I can't stand by and watch you drag Bill Bowen through the mud without some kind of reason, other than what happens at a silly message board!

  You're a wonderful person. I know that you are. Having said that we are going to agree to disagree on this one.

  This place is a fluffy little b.s. world.... it's a place that we've made up in our own minds. I hope that everyone understands that people are not as nice as they appear on this board.... I, personally am the most passive person you can imagine. Frankly, when people fight in real life, I stay right the hell out of it. I did get involved once,,, once. It was a learning experience. And I'm not talking of message boards.

  Perhaps we all need to get the delusions of this place out of our heads here. Or maybe I'm the one that's delusional. I prefer to stick with what I know. That only the nicest part of our 'posting' personalities are shown here. I prefer to do something that is not the norm; I am truthful to myself here. If someone posts silly things, silly questions, then they are asking me to respond. I responded like I would have had it been any other poster. If people don't like to hear an answer to a question, the please, DON'T ask it. In fact, I haven't heard one peep from Minimus on this. If he's in the corner crying and sobbing, (which I highly doubt), then he needs some therapy. Why?

  BECAUSE this place is not real life. It's a message board.

  Stop whining.

  Simon has done most of all. He pays the bills for a message board where everyone can bitch. It's not much, but it's better than any of you lot have done. (myself included)

  personally, i consider myself as a "soft-atheist".

  i don't believe in god but i keep an open mind and if someone can come with a real proof of god's existence, i'll take it.

  for now, i consider that believing in god, is just as silly as believing in santa claus.
