Disassociation

hi all, i haven't posted here in quite some time.. just as an update, about two years ago, my wife and i moved to a big city about 500 miles away from the town in which we grew up.

we made this move in part to expedite the fading process, which was successful.

when we moved, as i described in an earlier post, we formally transferred from our home cong (where our families are) to a local cong in our new city, and then transferred twice more so as to get lost in the shuffle.

Just continue to fade for now. See if you actually get any phone calls or visits. I suppose if they did phone you could claim you are not you and that you just got issued that new phone number so don't call you anymore, or you could refuse to answer the door if they show up at your house. In a large KH that you rarely attended, there is a good chance the elders probably wouldn't recognize you outside of meeting clothes.

I've gone from elder to over 18 year sucessful fade. Was faded for 12 years in my area before moving away. Now, I'm so far away and removed from them that I doubt seriously they would act on anything they possibly heard. I do however understand the principle of wanting to formally DA from this evil cult. I have a personal vow that if the JW's ever somehow contact me to get into my personal business that I will give them the harshest ass chewing they ever had while exposing their false cult for what it truely is.

As far as I'm concerned the JW's can let sleeping dogs lay and remember me for all the good I did when in, or I double dog dare them to somehow call me up and pry into my current life.

Unquestioning obedience

this has been demanded over the years by the wt.

it used to be mildly subtle the way the words were couched.. then they came out with, what they have repeated recently, that it is necessary to obey, even if you cannot understand the reasons, cannot understand why you are being asked to do something.. as a born in i knew nothing of it being a cult, and was only aware of the mind control in a foggy sort of way, accepting it as their way of trying to keep control.. but when i saw those words about unquestioning obedience, my blood ran cold, it then hit me that something was wrong, badly wrong.. how did you react ?.

i have been out since january 2006. here are the ones i can think of:.

1. deletion of cong.

Reduction of hours requirement for pioneers.

F&DS a prophecy, while Evil slave a parable.

The internet is no longer demonized.

The literature cart witnessing.

No food served at assemblies or conventions.

Will you make SACRIFICES for the kingdom? WT

each year tens of millions of dollars are spent caring for the expenses of traveling overseers, special pioneers and missionaries".. so the gb wants you to support their "kingdom interest", but can care less about the local congregation pioneers who for some struggle to make ends meet, who use their gas driving all around the territory putting wear and tear on their cars sometimes not getting gas money to take care of their expenses, let alone any repairs needed.

This cult has morphed into one big money machine. The GB loves their money. Why spend money from the sale of WT assets or profits from their WT hedge funds when they can sucker it out of the R&F members? Their ridiculous 2 witness rule for pedophiles has cost irrepairable harm to others, and muti-millions in pedophile protecting settlements. If the GB were smart (which they are not), they would come up with a way for people to get credited for FS time, if they sent in the equivilent of what they would spend in gas money. Can't believe these fools are still having people drive around wasting time & gas money. (making big oil companies richer, instead of the Watchtower)

Don't let your job interfere with your meeting attendance

recently, a public speaker brought up this point that i remembered being preached in the 70's.

when they bring this matter up, they always manage to give you an experience of how one person stood his ground, and got a great job offer, as a result.. what about the many experiences of ones that were not blessed?

i can memtion horror stories of ones that should have kept working their meetings..

When I was an elder, I probably routinely missed 35% of the meetings, because of a rotating shift and sometimes having to work extra time. I never really got bugged about it. Of course, people probably knew I would have told them to mind their own business.

Counteract jw.org August 2014 Campaign!

many of those who the witnesses prey upon will no doubt search for additional information on the internet.. let us use the extra attention against the watchtower!.

- there are many of us on active on this site.. - most of the widley used search engines (google, yahoo, bing etc) show autocomplete results.. .

Amazing how in 20 years the JW's have gone from demonizing internet witch hunts against members having internet......to I predict, pronouncing those not regularly visiting the JW.Org site, not mentioning JW.Org by witnessing, and those not having a JW.Org bumper sticker as being spiritually weak.

What a ridiculous cult.
