The JW religion really is bat-shit crazy. I like your advise to the JW lurkers who come here to read about the religion. Hopefully, some still have the ability to think for themselves and get them & their family out of this wacky cult. Think about it.....a religion that has all these crazy demon phobias, doesn't take blood transfusions, shuns their family members, men can't have beards, marital bedroom activity is regulated, you have to turn in a time slip every month, the list of crazy things just goes on & on.

My JW mom is coming to visit this Friday!!

I remember when this was reported that the Watchtower attorney as a legal manuver in this case said the F&DS did not exist. Only in Watchtower land can this tatic be used, then later the Governing Body change a decades old teaching about the F&DS being the remnant of the 144,000, to now the F&DS only being the 8 GB members when they meet together.
This bat-shit crazy cult never ceases to amaze me nowadays.

Tech49 has the CO over for lunch
by Tech49 inso awhile back, during our last circuit overseer visit, vic and i decided to bite the bullet.... there seemed to be very little support for the mid-week lunch plans for the co and his wife, so we signed up to host.
we definitely didnt want it to be awkward, so we invited a few others along, as a nice little group affair.
they were excited, and offered to do the cooking, so i said i would play along.. just some background.... this particular co is kind of a tool (big surprise right?

After surprise that a JW elder is contacting me after so many years and moving so far away, I feel them out as to why they are contacting me.
If it is to get into my business regarding anything Jehovah Witness.....I then go into full rant & attack mode telling them why the religion is a stupid cult, and then I conclude by telling them to never contact me again and that I dissassociate myself from this ridiculous cult, because it is not the true religion and I am embarassed to have ever been associated with the Watchtower religion.

This doesn't surprise me. It's a known fact that the Watchtower monitors this site, so they know all about "faders" and the different ways of fading. This religion is a cult that hates anyone not fully in. I would expect that they have a strategy to make it less easy to fade.
P.S. I walked away in 1995, so technically I'm a fader. I only really became anti-Watchtower after learning TTATT of this cult on this site. I've never officially DA'ed, only because I don't play by the rules of their cult. However, I would dare any of them to phone me up and try to talk about that cult like it's the truth.
