by Legendary U.2.K. in" we are the cause of our destruction *(it's quoted different in the bible) / i believe that 9/11 was a bad day, we cry & mourn & move on, we get over it, i got over 9/11 in under 24 hours & to be honest i'm sick of hearing about it.... now i also understand that millions was not paying attention before 9/11 & they still aint paying attention.. if people would wake the hell up and read the bible they would already know that god already warn us to listen to him, and be on guard 24/7 cause that devil which we call satan exist and on the move to overthrow billions........ where is your faith?
jesus clearly said that not to sorrow for the dead, cause they will get resurrected when the messiah comes back- john 5 verse 28,29.. so get over it and heed jesus words....

by little witch indoes anyone remember the advice from from the stage, encouraging mothers to remove babies from the room when they were hungry?.
how about, wooden spoons to beat toddlers into submission, preferably in front of the congegation, as to set an example in disipline?
was this just in our hall, or was it from the borg?

Whenever I've raised this issue with dubs, they always deny it. Yet I can clearly remember beatings being a normal part of the lifestyle for children of JWs. The worst that I remember was the district conventions at Dodger Stadium (Los Angeles) that were usually held in the middle of the summer, when LA sizzles. Kids were expected to sit for 8 hours a day on hard, unpadded seats, in temperatures frequently in the 100 degree range. The concession areas were filled with parents beating children who couldn't sit still under those conditions. I can remember seeing multiple parents in the same area, striking their children with belts, wooden spoons, paddles, switches, you name it, they brought their punishment implements with them to the assembly where they knew they'd get a chance to use them. Since this activity occurred on grounds that the WTS had control over as the lessee, and they did nothing to stop it from occurring, I am of the opinion that the WTS condoned it. This is supported by their continual regurgitation of the "spare the rod spoil the child" line.
The failure of the Jehovah's Witnesses to provide day care for children at meetings and at assemblies is a horrendous reflection of the priority Jehovah's Witnesses place on the interests of their children. It is indeed a shame that many more children will be raised in this manner.

Maybe not, but there's nothing wrong with encouraging it through legislation. Poor physical fitness of the populace results in substantial medical costs for the government. That is certainly a compelling government interest.
Besides, they said it was because they wanted to curb online gambling and admitted they were too clueless to know the difference. Should they outlaw all automobiles to curb prostitution? - Hmmm
If the social benefit of curbing prostitution exceeds the social cost of outlawing automobiles, then the answer to your question is yes.
As I stated before, the people of Greece are responsible for making their own rules that they have to live with. If this game ban is not liked by the majority of the people, then those responsible for it will pay the price at the polls. We ought to respect other countries by showing them deference, especially on something as insignificant as this. The Greeks practiced democracy long before we did!

I see nothing wrong with the Greek law regarding video games. If the people who live in Greece aren't happy with it, they will hold it's author(s) and supporters politically accountable. Also, the law could have the desirable effect of improving the physical fitness of the populace, by denying them an entertaining and leisurely attractive activity that encourages a sedentary lifestyle.

Having dealt with similar issues in my family, I can only advise not to take a single test too seriously. We've seen plenty of false alarms over here. In any event, it couldn't hurt to eat right and exercise regularly. Take care of yourself!

and when talking about child upbringing he stated that some children need a spank sometimes.
of course i was upset because of that, and i didn't thought witnesses was that stupid.

actually, the us army is keeping me busy, but they've decided to promote me to the rank of sergeant first class with the corresponding $300.00 a month pay raise.
