  ..from the scriptures why.... 1) material wealth is a sign of jehovah's blessing in our modern day.. 2) why jehovah blesses the growth of chicken populations, but allows active jehovah's witnesses to die in field service, or on the way to conventions, and on the way to celebrate the memorial?

  3) why jesus is not your mediator?

  I think if you're loaded, it came from family, you earned it, or conned someone.

  Nothing to do with God! I pray to God for money, and I ask my dad for it. Who answered me when I get it?

  I have no honor

  it occured to me on my way to work this morning that the concept of honor is rather silly at best, and more often quite dangerous if you really believe you have it.. think about it, what good is honor supposed to do?.

  right of the bat we can all name a number of really stupid things which are associated with honor: honor killings, for instance, where a member of the family is murdered for insulting the families honor (you wonder how the honor ever actually tells people it has been offended), or duels which was a sport between aristocrats.

  then there is the honor of dead people which can linger on for centuries, a certain prophet comes to mind, and it seems even dead objects like flags, banners, documents or nations can have honor which can be invoked to kill or maim others.. what are the legitimate invocation of honor as a reason to act a certain way?

  Cofty- I also admire what Jesus said in Matt chapter 23. It helps to read it in the meeting when my Judicial comittee members are commenting or taking meeting parts.

  I imagine myself standing at the back and just reading it out loud to them in a colourful tone

  You have 13 very good questions. I can't possibly answer all of them in one go. But question 3 is interesting

  Jehovah in Rev4:11 certainly demands it!!! I don't wnat to get into semantics of correct phrases. He demands it full stop, period. In my opinion NO he doesn't deserve it at all

  I am inclined to agree with you. I don't think you do have honour. But I don't know you very well.
