Sorry but thus site should have revolutionized the blood issue to the point that JWs would not have to deal with the blood issue at all. What did the site really accomplish?? Nothing, ever, IMO.
This site and the corresponding one in German accomplished a lot. It opened my eyes about the blood issue and gave me reasons and arguments that neither the branch office nor hospital liaison members could answer. Reasons that make other witnesses I know think too about it.
i just discovered a site today that has scans of most of the magazines/publications ever published by the wt bible and tract.
it is not an "apostate site" it just has the material and no commentary.
those of us trying to wake up jws may find this useful as we can show old quotes and publications without sending out red flags.. we are supposed to be proud of our spiritual heritge right??.
Just one correction. This site is of a former JW who disassociated with a letter of 25 pages. On his site he has this site and a lot of more information (similar to Jwfacts).
i noticed they removed several important ones like mark 16:9-20 acts 8:37 and romans 16:24, so how does one find out if there is any relevance to them removing these verses and others.
they of course say these verses were not found in the oldest manuscripts so how can we see if they are correct or lying??
so our visting arrangement with my children has changed.
there was a misunderstanding in our visiting arrangment, we agreed on that they would spend the weekends (once in two weeks) with me they would stay until sunday.
I might find myself in a similar situation as you.
My wife just left me because I believe WT is not the truth. She took our 1.5 year old son with her and lives at the moment at her parents place about 5 hours away.
So every second week I will go and visit. Probably during my visit she will try to take him to the meetings. So I think I will have to make it clear that when I visit I wanna spend some time with my son and not spend this time at meetings. When he gets older of course he can decide on his own. I hope I can do that without big argument.
By the way. It's crazy to read the best book ever and then not watch the movie because it's R rated.
Anyway I think american movie ratings are crazy too. There can be a lot of violence. But if there is a few F words it's R rated. My favourite movie "The Big Lebowsky" has in every sentence the F word. In Europe the rating is 12+, in america it's R rated.
well, had a loooooooong conversation with the missus again after being accused of being overly critical of the borg.. .
i stated that i thought the borg was marvellous, full of really good people, (in our experience, it has been so far), but that i had difficulty with the dogmatic stance we had on certain issues that we couldn't possibly be sure about, and that if i were to vocalise any of these issues and unrepentantly not change my thinking, then i could be df'd for that, which i view as an unloving bullying tactic.
organ transplants, vaccinations, (jah will resurrect, don't worry), new understandings of the fads and generations etc... particularly the thought that only jw's will be saved.
A little later this week I will write some more about it. Of course I am sad but at least in a strange way she treats me in a friendly way again. She is a victim of the bOrg as we all are in a way.

My wife treated me as a second class person for weeks and wants to seperate now. Not because I was abusive or a bad husband. Just because I told her that I feel the bOrg doesn't have the truth (especially because shunning and blood). The only way she can live with me is, if I change my belief about the bOrg.
You did very well. Only you know how much you can tell your wife at present.
What scientists labelled as junk dna is actually not junk. A lot of dna is not yet fully understood. But recent findings in epigenetics show that junk dna is not junk at all. It is important in activating or deactivating genes. Epigenetics shows that even good or bad experiences can be inherited to the next generations.
Crazyguy, just give your wife room and don't worry when elders are trying to help her. You da'd, so everyone knows your position feelings now. As for your wife this situation is not easy. Be kind and gentle towards her.
