  ok. i don't believe that the watchtower(r) armageddon(tm) is anything but fantasy.. i do recall speculation about how the 'anointed(tm)' might all be dead before the big 'a' or that some will survive through it and help the r&f.

  i heard brothers speculating that after the big 'a' the 'anointed(tm)' would be spirited away to heaven.. i wonder what they think will happen to the gb on, before or after the big 'a' now?.

  That would explain why our current DO telling was telling a group during the CA lunchbreak that he was being assigned to a congregation. They, of course will receive a "modest monthly stipend" as special pioneers, but no more Buick LaCrosse?

  it seems that in my neck of the woods there is no social interaction between jws outisde of fs and the kh.

  the last get together was 3 summers ago.

  other than that there is no bond.

  Joe134Cd, very similar experience here. Last invite we received was for a picnic on Easter Sunday several years ago and when we mentioned that to the elderette pioneer organizing the festivities, she said "well if it bothers you, that's ok...". She henceforth shunned us and we were excluded from all further Congo extra-curricular events after that.

  i'm still in the matrix(the truth), but 'morpheus' and his team are valiantly working on a way to get me out.

  in the meantime, everyday i am discovering so much about being a jw i never knew, like don't buy girl scout cookies, that i keep asking myself "what have i got myself into".. maat.

  really lame for a first post, but i figure i should start some where.
