  Once again the wt has bragging rights about 'numbers'. Numbers are extremely important to the wt society. They can no longer brag about the increase in members or the increase in the number of congregations or how much literature they gave away. So now they have to brag about how many languages they have translated. They have translated, not the Bible, but only their bullshit into 1,000 languages.

  Oh---they can brag about the increase in the numbers of how many can now sip the wine and nibble the crackers at the Memorial. lol lol

  the organization stresses to elders to be careful with members of the opposite sex.

  never be alone with a sister whether it be in field service or paying a visit by means of a shepherding call.

  do you know of any elders that flirted or were overly “touchy” with females?

  Some more food for thought is that jw's claim to be sooooo Christian but not one mention of jesus in that wt study yesterday! I guess he wasn't humble enough to make article yesterday!

  Russian raid on 50 Jehovahs witnesses

  there has been a raid on a large jehovahs witness gathering in norilsk, above the arctic circle, according to the moscow times.. a building with 50 jws inside was surrounded by masked, armed special forces forces who burst into the building and demanded they surrender all electronic devices.. i'll link the article but it's obviously going to drive these witnesses deeper into the religion.

  Another opportunity for the gb to muster the troops in a massive letter writing campaign. At least it keeps the troops busy when they aren't 'cart witnessing----sitting down in the vicinity of 'the cart' using their cell phones!

  Good memories of full-time service?

  perhaps not a topic for everybody... mine.. in both sp service in a foreign field in europe , the freedom and helping people to read and write in spanish .

  doing a lot of work in the congregations.. in missionary-service.. helping congregations in a third-world country and see good results in family relations.

  and the siestas from 13:00 to 15:00..... who has good memories of bethel?

  I was so fu*king indoctrinated that I actually felt euphoric about being a pioneer for a few years before going to jail "for my faith"! Getting that 100 hours a month out in preaching was the ultimate high------until it wasn't!

  if the wording & context of a scripture is dismissed at the outset, then every statement and assumption which follows is implicititly false.

  in the very first study article, the gibbering body continues to indoctrinate the sheeple to accept that over 500 people met jesus on the mountain - despite the blatant fact that 1 corinthians 15:6 says absolutely nothing about the 500 people being anywhere near galilee!

  (matthew 28:16-20) however, the 11 disciples went to galʹi·lee to the mountain where jesus had arranged for them (the 11 disciples) to meet.

  Normal Family Relations Continue...My Arse....

  i think that the big issue here is the double standard based on the location of the family members - if they are 'immediate' meaning they live at home in the same dwelling under the same roof then it's ok but if you are like me and living on your own, your family will absolutely avoid contact with you as that is the real jw policy..the old canada court trial and recent swedish news are totally out of context and the jw attorneys are complete tools and filthy liars....
