  Wife and kids are officially OUT!!

  my wife has told her jw best friend and jw sister that she is givng up the religion!!

  and there was i worrying about losing her when i left the cult.

  and, to top it all, my 15 and 13 year old children are using their critical thinking skills and can see it all for what it is.

  i was in the market for a new down comforter and after pricing several companies on line i saw an ad here for the pacific feather co. even though they were slightly higher in price i decided to buy from them.

  i just had to since hubby is jw and i'm not.

  this allowed me to use his money to help support this site.

  Good job. All I get is advertisements to find my Latin and Columbian girlfriends. While a nice proposition, I don't quite think my wife would approve. And before anyone says it's adsense reading my cookies, I have not, I repeat have not, looked at any porn/dating sites on my work computer, so they shouldn't be there.

  They must have used a different translation and forgot to cite it. Byingtons bible does use the word "research" in the verse, although it is a little different. This should still be confusing to most JWs, though.

  I found the second one on an archive site. Looks like it was published in 1943. It doesn't say who the writer is though.

  I personally don't know anything about these, but I would love to see them. Do you or a friend have a scanner where you could scan some of these that aren't available on archive sites and make these available to us?

  The Big Announcement..this week

  have you heard what the "big announcement" is to be this week.

  supposedly the bethel homes will get some announcement today and the congregations will announce the new something by the end of the week..

  It'd make sense. There are less and less qualified single brothers and certainly less qualified christian couples that can attend these schools. They have to keep a measure of growth up, so opening this up to sisters would no doubt help fuel this. If true, everyone at the KH will be commenting how this is such a wonderful blessing and privilege.
