  Any ideas?

  good morning to you all, .

  so my only bit of post this morning is a letter from the elders, i've been doing battle with them for a few weeks over arrangements for a judicial committee.

  well, anyway as expected they "will not enter into any correspondence" nor will they allow a friend to attend the meeting with me but they will meet on friday to finalise the matter!

  Problem with your suggestion francois, is that it's what they would hope and expect her to do, that is be proud and arrogant, so they could get her on a trumpt up charge of not being co-operative, that is if whatever she has been called in for can't be proven. The reason I posted the details of the procedure is so it can help her get an idea what elders have to comply with.

  But, AE it's up to you how you decide to handle it, depending on what you wish the result to be, hey have fun.

  I doubt the media would be interested in covering this, it's not sensational enough to cover.

  Read the following before you see anyone... Elders have certain rules they must follow as outlined below, most of which the R&F aren't aware exist!

  UNIT 5 (b)

  Handling Judicial Cases

  Do not send an individual any kind of correspondence
  that directly accuses him of specific wrongdoing.

  It is best for two elders to speak with the indlvidual and
  invite him to meet with the Judicial committee.

  Suitable arrangements should be made as to the time
  and place of the hearing.

  State what the person's course of action is supposed to
  have been.

  If it is necessary to send a written invitation, you should
  simply state what the individual's course is alleged to have
  been, the time and place of the hearing, and how the
  person can contact the chairman if the arrangements are
  inconvenient for him.

  If the accused wishes to bring witnesses who can speak
  in his defense regarding the matter, he may do so.

  However, observers are not permitted.

  No tape-recording devices are allowed

  If the accused reeatedly fails to come to the hearing,
  the committee will proceed with the hearing but will not
  make a decision until evidence and any testimony by
  witnesses are considered.

  The committee should not take action against a person
  unless the evidence clearly proves this necessary.

  Failure to appear before the committee is not in itself
  proof of guilt.

  Why does your Elder Hubby want this now? Are their scriptual grounds for Divorce?

  did not needing to plan for the future affect your career choices and your consequent wealth?.

  i'm not simply talking about following the advice to not take up an education which has been discused many times, but i'm going further to say that those brought up in "the truth" had their whole philosophy moulded and shaped in a way which never searched for more or wanted more; a non-materialistic outlook.. now some may still say materialism is evil, or that being brought up this way leads to a more content life.. the cynics, like myself, will say that keeping people 'happy but poor' is the genius of the rich.. i've had some success after leaving the org, after taking up education and so on, but it has taken time.

  Without a doubt in the world, as far as I'm concerned it hit hard with me, I wanted to wait till the New Order, I believed 100% in the LIE, and sometimes I let slip and still do. Grrrrrrrrr

  If I wasn'r brought up in the (B)org I would have definately been more ambitious No DOUBT!

  Williams fined for obscenity

  the australian daily telegragh on 17th jan has an artical on serena williams and goes on to say.

  top speed serena williams clains she has no memory of swearing during her tight australian open first round match despite being fined $2500 for the offence yesterday.

  williams was fined for an 'audible obscenity ' while she came back from a set downto overcome emilie loit, of france , on tuesday.

  What a great witness huh?

  I'm sure the elders in the Williams' congo line isn't going to let this one go, and if they do, it would be purely on the basis that these girls have money.

  If it was one of us caught swearing in public, say McDonalds, we'd get raked over the coals, wonder if there's a rule for us (non Millionaires club) and a different one for them?

  Gon't get me wrong, i think these girls are marvelous, especially Venus, but I wonder if anything will be said in their cong.?

  wow, today i suddenly realized just what day it was.

  exactly one year ago, i decided i was no longer willing to be a witness.

  january 17, 2002 was the first day i stopped praying to a god i no longer had any faith in.

  Paradise Lost

  thinking back to my most earliest of memories, i remember the wonderment of life.

  i can still smell the pugnent floral breezes and experience being mesmerized into hypnosis watching the white linen sheets dance to an unheard accompaniment on the clothes line.

  mother seemed like a god to me the way she hung that laundry so effortlessly and happily.

  That was the first book I ever studied, I now know exposure to the above as a child has only had a disastrous affect on how I have viewed life.

  Children need positive pictures of life, HOPE, LOVE, GOODNESS, Not Violence, hatred, and fear as the above pics so vividly depict.

  The real world is sometimes bad enough and as a child we need to remain innocent and have Joy not exposed to manipulative pics as the above, why did we have to grow up so quickly. Look at that little girl in the hole with a puppy, No wonder I was a miserable Child and have turned into a miserable adult.

  This has brought back so many painful memories, that needed to be brought to the surface.

  I know my parents meant well, of that I have NO DOUBTS, it's not their fault, they were victims as much as any of us here.

  (b)org headquarters pleading for help. I said I was proud of all of you then and I am proud of all of you more so everyday!

  I never really realised before the impression these sorts of pics have on a child, not being a parent myself, it must take away the innocence far too early. It's so subliminal, and so carefully orchestrated.

  Like the song goes: You've got to be taught, before it's too late, before you are 6, or 7, or 8, to hate all the things your relatives hate, you've got to be carefully taught, you've got to be carefully taught!
