I would draw little stick men in the corners of the books or mags or song book and then flicked the corners so that it would look like the stick men were running or whatever

What did you do to keep yourself amused at the KH?
by be wise inwhen i was very young about 12 or 13 my brother [he's mad, not much older] sometimes used to do a cheeky magic trick during the watchtower[god, this was the most boring of them all, i think].
he used to put his hands by his side and miraculously the books on his lap would rise all by themselves [yeah, you guessed it ...morning glory], well it made me laugh my head off.
i bet people could see my shoulders bouncing up and down from the back row.

Did You Feel Bad About How YOU Treated Disfellowshipped Ones?
by minimus inbeing an elder, i could talk to df's ones to see how they're doing.
the wt.
tells the rank and file that those disfellowsipped are as "dead" in jehovah's eyes.

Question about JW's and adultery
by Sally inif a single jw brother and a married jw sister have sex (secretly wishing that her husband commits adultery so she can divorce him) and they get caught would her husband be able to divorce her no problem and wouldn't they just be df''d for a year?
then after a year could they be reinstated and then be together?
they are both very popular as they are both good looking, friendly and lots of fun.

depends if the elders want to get at you...and if you lied with regards to if you did do it or not..........someone i know lied and he was disfellowshipped for a lot longer than a yr because they wanted to make an example of him

For those without mothers
by Lady Lee inmothers day can bring up many issues for some of us.
for some their mothers have passed away and the opportunity to say i love you in person is forever lost.. for others our mothers are lost to the borg.
in fact, we may never have had the opportunity to celebrate a mother's day with them.

my mother died dec 12 2000.........and because of being a witness we never had "mothers day"........i wish it was different.........she was a very good mother, brought up 12 kids and i never told her to her face that i loved her but since she died i say it to her every night......our family wasnt the type of family that went around saying i love you to one another.......i just want to say that i love her more than words can describe....when mothers day is here i will still say to her "happy mothers day" ................

I have sinus tachycardia: with me it is brought on by things to do with anxiety...i dont get it all the time or anything like that but if the anxiety (anxiety attacks) or a VERY SUDDEN shock happens and its bad then i will get an "attack"....doesnt usually last very long.......the doctor checked me out and said there was nothing wrong with my heart..he put me on a ECG machine etc.....and i asked him about that several times and he said it wont kill me! I suffered a little from depression anyway and he put me on 20mg cipramil and that has helped and i havent had an attack for several months plus i try not to get over anxious over anything..........i copied the item below from a online medical dictionary.
sinus tachycardia
A fast heartbeat (tachycardia) occurring because of rapid firing by the sa node, the natural pacemaker of the heart. Electrical signals initiated in the sa node are transmitted to the atria and the ventricles to stimulate heart muscle contractions heartbeats. Sinus tachycardia is usually a rapid contraction of a normal heart in response to a condition, drug, or disease as, for examples, pain, fever, excessive thyroid hormone, exertion, excitement, low blood oxygen level (hypoxia), or stimulant drugs such as caffeine, cocaine, and amphetamines. However, in some cases, it can be a sign of heart failure, heart valve disease, or other illness.
