  I can't sleep :S

  i've never experienced insomnia before in my life.

  lately i've been waking up around three or four in the morning and staying awake for several hours before going back to sleep shortly before my alarm goes off.. this is driving me nuts!

  i normally wake up feeling refreshed, but now i'm dragging myself out of bed and going through the day feeling sleepy.

  i'm looking for all aussies on here...in particular south aussies.

  if you know anyone who's an aussie on jw.com, the other jw discussion boards or the net, pass on my email to them.

  i'm thinking about setting up an aussie apostate state/national convention one day.. where's all the aussies gone since last time i used to come one here all the time.....prisca, uncle bruce etc etc.

  i was just thinking about when moses was leading people to the promised land.....and he hit the rock and said i give you water instead of giving the praise to jehovah, well, this is my opinion that if all moses did was say i give you water and didnt give praise to jehovah, then, what hope is there for a lot of the witnesses ......they do a lot worse than that............ what do you think

  THE BEST ROCKY-ROAD IN THE WORLD

  375g cooking chocolate

  200g marshmallows

  16 little soft red jube lollies cut up

  1/2 cup crushed nuts

  put the marshmallows, lollies and crushed nuts in a bowl.

  melt the cooking chocolate in a large container and when melted then add the other ingredients and stir till they are all covered with chocolate then pour into a lined tin.

  When its set......eat..eat and eat

  Anyone Know Anything About Small Intestine Cancer?

  a good friend of mine was recently diagnosed with cancer of the small intestine (duodenal adinocarcinoma) and i was wondering if anyone on this board has dealt with this specific type of cancer, either personally or by helping a family member or friend?

  he has had surgery and as soon as he is strong enough will begin chemotherapy (they discovered cancer cells in some lymph-nodes).. he indicated to me that doctors have told him it is a very rare type of cancer.

  an ontcologist he saw also indicated that treatment with chemo was not well known since the cancer is rare.

  my mother had stomach cancer, but not sure if its like the one you mention.

  she found out 5 months before she died that she had cancer and she had secondary growths etc.....there wasnt really anything they could do for her. but she had 5 wonderful daughters who looked after her and tried to make her remaining time comfortable
