i forgave my parents a long time ago....they looked after us the best they could....i was number 9 in a family of 12 and yes, i did feel left out sometimes and i felt one of my other sisters was her favourite and that use to annoy me but not now. My mother was the best. She took the 12 kids to the meetings and i remember we all use to walk to the hall. none of us are what i call terrors and my dad worked hard to provide for all of us....God bless them both.

by LyinEyes inguess this kind of goes with the other thread i started about looking at the inner child that is still hurtingk by posting a pic of us when we where kids.. i found this pic of my parents, my mom was just 15,,,,,my dad barely 18, shortly after , they married soon and i was born when my my was just 16. .
just looking at their faces in this moment in time, in this picture, i can see , that they were just kids too, that they were not ready to face the hardships of starting a family so soon.
i am not making excuses for the things they both did,,,,,,,,,,, they both did many things to hurt me.

i dont know all of the dates but there are still conventions to be held sydney, perth, brisbane i think and soemwhere else....i dont ask anyone about dates because they'll assume i want to go.

For Panic Attack/Anxiety sufferers........

i guess i have since 1999 after coming out of a particularly abusive relationship that stripped my confidence.
funny thing back then was that my first "attack" was whilst i was on holiday relaxed when it struck.

Yes i suffer them....sometimes.........my attacks bring on "sinus tachycardia" which is heart palpitations and you also get a feeling of "butterflies" in your throat.............the doctor said it wont kill me.......they put me on a ecg and he said my heart was ok.

How Do You Handle Death?
by minimus infor most witnesses, the ressurection hope keeps survivors going.
i knew of some jw's that were in such denial that they would want to believe that "they're just sleeping but are still alive to jehovah.
" others would bust themselves "in the work", while others would "mourn as the nations do".

handled my dad's death not too bad but hit me hard when my mum died...i hadnt been to any meetings for sometime before that but nothing would give me peace until i went to a psychic 2.5 yrs after she died...
i know not everyone believes in psychics but i am not sure whether i do or not but it gave me piece and now i have stopped crying EVERYTIME i think of her...thinking about death the way witnesses do did not give me peace of mind

Vacationing with a Witness
by DevonMcBride inthe end of october i'm going on a 9 day cruise to the caribbean with a group of 70 people.
one of the the travelers is a jw and it will be interesting to see how "worldly" she will behave away from her jw clan.
at our christmas party (that's right she was at our christmas party) she got drunk and she buys christmas presents for her grandchildren who are not jw.
