Because the only options to the ISIS problem are to drop an a-bomb or to do nothing.
I suspect you might have more of a problem if you and your family were the ones who were unfortunate enough to live under a terrorist organisation or drug cartel...

But Alpha Man, your decision would kill a lot of innocent civilians who hate ISIS as much as you do, or probably more, since they actually suffer under them.

The Japanese were willing to negotiate for peace before the bombs were dropped but wouldn't commit to unconditional surrender as they wanted to protect the emperor. Truman had that information but still demanded unconditional surrender and went ahead with the bombings. If he had really have wanted to end the war with as little further loss of life as possible he would have gone to the negotiating table.

Sure it is, if we can judge the Holocaust as evil we can judge the A Bomb the same way.
