well with that quote, the witnesses have always justified the fact that they are still god's chosen people, even though they are not that large compared to other worldwide religions.
yet i was wondering something, if smaller is a sign of god's people, then how small is small enough.

How did you imagine the end happening?
by DblOSmith ini always imagined it as being the sky turning different shades of purple and finally seeing colors i've never seen before.
loud lightening, thunder in all directions... i would hear god speak, then the sky would turn red, and i'd see angels coming down from the sky and devils go up and fight in the sky... kinda like in raiders of the lost arc.
it would last 40 years, then the earth would split and open all demons would be cast below, and then 2 weeks of rain will cleanse the earth and the paradise would grow from the ash and neutrient rich rain.. .

I thought it would be some large earthquake or something. I figured natural disasters would happen on a large scale and people would be dying all around me. I always wondered though, what about collateral damage. After all, with all that fury of God being thrown around. Isn't there a chance a few of God's chosen people would take one for the team?

Yet I was wondering something, if smaller is a sign of God's people, then how small is small enough. For example, there are many Christian religions that are no larger then a few thousand, or just over a million. They might be good people, with a good cause and yet they are not that large. Is their gate more narrow and cramped then the Witnesses?
So if someone says to you, "we are a smaller religion, because the road is narrow and cramped to ever lasting life." You should mentioned that with the growth they brag about, it sounds like the road is starting to become a little to broad and spacious and thus you would feel more comfortable with a more cramped religious lifestyle. Yes, that comment made sense in the 1920's something, because at that time they were only a few thousand. Now they brag about being so large and growing and those begining numbers have changed. So we must conclude, the cramped and narrow road has gotten to wide.
What do you think, is it still a narrow and cramped road?

DOOMSDAY religion, is not just in ONE
by whyhideit inrecently i woke in the early morning hours to a knock on the door and my first thought was, "jehovah's witnesses going door-to-door.
" so i got myself together and went to the door and sure enough there were two people standing there with bibles in hand.
they had a flier and they started to speak, "the end is coming, god is passing judgment upon man soon.
