  My husband is back in the hospital

  he has a gi bleed.

  they were unable to find any bleeding in his stomach today.

  so tomorrow, they will be doing a colonoscopy.

  i have posted here before about my shop being burglarized.

  a couple days ago 2 men broke into a business around the corner from mine.

  after gaining access they broke through a wall getting into an electronics shop burglarizing them, not being satisfied they then climbed into an attic and attempted to rob a mr. gattis pizza they fell through the roof onto the kitchen floor.

  My Grandmother is Dying (non JW) from Cancer

  my grandmother is not a jw nor is my grandfather or my father.

  she is however a methodist and i think she has a belief in jesus and that she is going to heaven.. i would like to use a short scripture in a card to her that might ease her mind a little in these last days of hers.

  she was always supportive of me when i was a jw even though she didn't buy into no christmas, birthdays, the usual and always celebrated them with me anyway (like any good grandmother would do).. any suggestions would be appreciated.

  I don't know, but what I would want to hear is anything that would validate my life. Mention the little things that she did that was an effort on her part that she might not think you noticed. And of course that you love her. I'm sorry for your GrandMom and her whole family for having to suffer this.
  
  But one thing with Cancer - it gives the family a chance to put all things right unlike a sudden death. Godspeed.

  yesterday, i was cleaning out the dark recesses of my purse and found the blood card.

  i was going to throw it away but stopped.

  after doing some research on blood in the bible, i no longer believe in the jw blood doctrine.

  i have finally connected my dvd, vcr and tv to my computer.

  everything is working so far except the sound.

  (still working on that part.. so i`m sitting here and get the bright idea to take a screen shot just to see if it would capture the video.

  Mom Died -- and I found out from an old friend!

  ok, i'm writing this thru tears as i just found out in the last 5 minutes.

  my dad died in august, and they had been together just 1 or 2 weeks over 70 years married!

  i didn't expect her to last without him, and visa versa.. i just tried to call my sister, and no answer there.

  Brenda - that is SO terrible, you deserve better than that. I'm so sorry. You are such a kind and caring person and giving to others. I'm just so sorry for your mom's passing and the way you found out and the trouble the cult has caused you. I wish I were there to bring you and your husband some food and give you a hug and sit there while you cry.
