Well as many of you know, in the last month I have been having a long distance relationship with a girl that lives 8.5 hours from me. Well I just got back yesterday from spending nine wonderful days with her. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I had already met her once in st. louis and we had a great time, but spending that amount of time was awesome. However, because I am going to be moving farther away making us 14 hours apart. The fact she and her ex still have issues and other things, we have decided to maintain a frienship for the next 6 months. We both still have feelings for her. Hell, I miss her like crazy. Before I left we were talking on the phone almost 5 and 6 hours a day, we only talked a little over an hour today. It is very hard. But she is an awesome person and although I have only known her for a little over a month, I feel like she has been in my life for years. I have no regrets over anything. I thought I would be so sad leaving her. But I am following the philosophy..."smile because it happened, don't cry because it is over"
Well I just wanted to share and also explain why I have not been on the forum in so long...

It seems like forever away...but I am trying to make this work. I am so scared. We have been so honest with each other and we both think the distance thing will challenge us. I think it is more challenging to her and part of me wonders what the heck I am doing. But the thing is, I can not go back, I am out there and I cannot not try. I have to, even if it means I might get my heart broke. That is the most scary feeling I have ever felt in my life....
We talked last night for 4 hours and today for an hour and I am sure we will talk later....
I have fallen this fast so quickly, I feel like I am on some kind of ride and I never want it to end...

i have only been talking to them about 4 or 5 days, and when i was talking to them last night or about 3 hours and at one point, just talking to them gave me that sensation, like you get after you kiss someone for the first time.

Update for all of you that are interested. It is 4:30 am and I just got off the phone with her, I talked to her on the phone for almost 5 hours tonight. This is the most crazy thing. I am usually reserved when speaking with someone about how I feel, but I am totally myself with her and it feels so free and amazing...
